"Grandma, Grandma," the little voices came from behind the wooden door. Her
head looking up to the brightened little eyes as they peeked their little
heads from around the door. "Grandma, Grandma". The two children ran across
the wooden floor and into the small fragile woman's arms as she held them
out stretched to them. Her hugs were like that from many they remembered,
full of warmth and loving care.
Well, that just wouldn't do at all. However, there was little Fauste could do at the moment. Not only did he need to find out where he was, but he needed a sizable army to retake his castle. This just wasn't a very good day. Fortunately, a highwayman chose that moment to knock him unconscious with a cudgel.
With great pleasure, I would like to introduce Raeke to the staff! He will be writing a column titled "Raeke's Retreat". Here is what he has to say about it:

I've decided to kick off my column with a little bit of fan fiction about the best MMORPG ever. These fierce knights scared L'Stre; they fought with deadly intent upon any individual who opposed them. Once and a while he would see a group of young knights venture out and try to lay waste to the knights clad in mail. Some of the knights succeeded, but many died in the attempt.

Back in town L'Stre searched for the man who he heard would teleport him to Silver Knights Town. He had traveled all over Hidden Valley and now wanted to see more parts of this place the humans called Aden.

Alright it has been awhile, hopefully I have left most wanting more and not upset with me for taking so long to post another chapter. Well here it is, sorry for the delay :D

Weary from battle Richard did not want to run into town. He pulled out a scroll of teleportation to Hidden Valley Town. He thought of the place he wanted to be and whoosh with a wonderful sound he appeared back into town.
Okay, I am really tired, I got little to no sleep yesterday. Here is Chapter Eight, I really hope you enjoy this chapter as much as the previous ones. Have a nice day.

The vile creature stank of something awful. Richard did not want to search this body for any valuables, but if he wanted those nice boots he knew he had too. Richard quickly found the purse; it looked to have around two hundred pieces of adena. He noticed a dagger in its sheath attached to the orcs belt; it looked a lot like his friend L'Stre's. He laughed at the elf for carrying such a piece as that.

Sword in hands, Richard ran, ran as fast as he could. He reached into his pouch and pulled a metallic purple potion out. A Bravery Potion he calls it. He downed the liquid quickly, over his head came the distinct sound of the bravery potion working as the light shimmered and disappeared. He moved even quicker then before. Again he reached into his pouch and pulled another potion, this time it was a green haste potion. He drank this quickly also, this time a green light flashed and disappeared.

It was brutally quite, it had never been this quiet before. He glanced over to where the vendor had been before and noticed all of his things being there but the vendor was not insight. He began getting a strange ill feeling in his stomach as he got closer to the edge of town. When he reached the gates of the west side of town he smiled and nodded at the guards, and they returned the gesture happily.

Finally opening his eyes and wiping the sleep from them he looked over and saw L'Stre sitting watch with an arrow knocked and dagger in hand.

While the human slept, L'Stre was wondering how the man would react when he awoke to be in he presence of an elf. He was taught when he was a mere elfling that humans and elves generally didn't get along to well.

L'Stre was starting to get fearful that he took on a load he could not carry. The Orc could obviously see the fear in his eyes and let out a blood curdling scream and started to walk towards him.

He quickly knocked another arrow and held it aimed at the last creature. It squeaked and gurgled in complete terror. This time L'Stre asked if it wanted trouble the little creature shook his head in the no manner. He then asked him to drop his weapon and any others it had hidden. It did so immediately. He asked it nicely to please back away from the weapons that lay on the ground. The creature did as asked.
