Darkfall Seige System - Will it measure up?

The concept of assets ownership is nothing new to a mmog. With the advent of Shadowbane, however, things got a little more interesting because assets could now be destroyed by ones enemies.

The developers of Darkfall intend to include a seige warfare system in their release as well. There has yet to be much information regarding how this seige system will work. This particular part of game-play has been a game-stopper for many players of other games, so hopefully the developers will address some of these concerns in Darkfall.
