Sometimes, bad guys just need to be taught a lesson, and that's where the popular beat-em-up MMO Elsword comes in. Watch as a manga comes to life with beautiful 3D graphics. Take on hoards of enemies as one of six unique characters, each with their own unique powers and background. As you progress, your character will evolve, reflecting their own personal path in this long story.
- Vibrant, anime art style with 3D graphics.
- Fast-paced side-scrolling combat.
- PVP and coop battles.
- Character-specific story with voice acting.
Elsword takes fast action combat and merges it with RPG elements and gorgeous visuals. Wrapped in anime stylings, the world of Elsword features an individual story for each character which is told over many chapters. As each player progresses, both their character and the world will change around them, drawing them deeper into the immersive plot.
While Elsword is a side-scroller, the graphics are in colorful 3D. The cutscenes are told via comic book panels with the original Korean voice acting subtitled. Meanwhile, the game world is painted in vibrant colors, with attacks and combos generating spectacular flashes and effects.
Each of the six characters have their own unique backgrounds and art styles (with more characters being added all the time). Each story mission develops them more, revealing more of their backstory. As they progress, you'll take on new abilities, even completely changing appearances, letting you decide how each story ends.
Combat in Elsword mostly takes place in fast-paced beat-em-up levels where performance and speed are a factor. The better your rating, the better your score and reward. Each character has their own unique attacks you can powerup for greater effect. As you play, you'll gain experience and gear which will increase your power.
Missions can be tackled alone or with friends, where you can compete for the best score. There are even secret dungeons to discover which hold even more treasure. Every mission has customized difficulty levels, from normal all the way up to hell, so you can go back and rerun your favorite missions for special bonuses, or just challenge yourself.
If you'd like more of a challenge, you can directly fight other players, either in one-on-one matches, or in group brawls, where the right powerup can make all the difference. Elsword has an active community that can help you along in your journey and give you the challenge you need when you get on your feet.
