About the Game

Age of Wushu is an MMO set in a mythological, medieval Chinese realm. Players join one of eight unique factions and become powerful martial artists, and while they will enjoy fantastic, otherworldly powers, the game is rooted in the "strict logic" of real-world martial arts, in which every attack can be countered and exploited by a sufficiently skilled fighter.

There are no classes, but players can advance through an expansive list of skills that continue to grow and improve even when you're not online. In fact, offline characters will serve as the NPCs for others, earning money and improving skills as they perform jobs like painter, musician or blacksmith. But there are also risks: Offline characters can be kidnapped by evil players and sold into servitude, and the money you would have earned while offline ends up in the pockets of an unscrupulous store owner instead!

Players can become friends with others or enter into feuds, earn Chivalry or Malevolence points, hunt criminals. kidnap other players and more. Guilds may be formed or joined, and it's even possible to become the leader of martial arts school. Age of Wushu is a unique and innovative take on martial arts videogames, and sure to impress fans of the genre.

this game is free yea but it is 100% pay to win everything takes silver and that costs real $$ possibly one of the highest priced games i ever saw dont waste time

The gameplay itself is solid enough to stand above most hotbar based mmos, but the control scheme, which uses the standard lock-on targeting and camera controls really bogs down the combat in some cases. The good news is that combat is at it's best in 1 on 1 duels, and that can be outstandingly fun, the bad news is that there isn't much in the way of large scale pvp that isn't swamped with AOE spam and, for lack of a better term, a fuster-cluck. The very bad news is that although the game itself is very promising, Snail games seems determined to pile-drive it into the ground. Don't expect to keep any cosmetics you murchase, since the only thing they have for sale are cosmetic rentals, xp boosters, and various consumables that boost a characters leveling. The grind is well handled so it isn't annoying, but it still takes forever. On top of all this the game is filled with so many gold spammers that you often can't even read local chat, and to combat them Snail simply mass-bans players that make a lot of money, even if they make it legally in the market, and heavy account security issues put anyone with a lot of money on there account at risk, with no options for protecting your account or recovery, since Snail is under the policy of blaming the customer if your account is breached.

Fun game, but the company is so bad I don't expect the game to live long.
