About the Game

4Story is frequently compared to its more popular MMO sibling World of Warcraft, and it's not a poor comparison. Both games present similar fantasy worlds, story progression quests, and a variety of similar services. Of course, the reason 4Story followed in WoW's footsteps is because the model was successful. Similarly, players who give 4Story a chance will find a fun and exciting, if familiar, world that provides a full role-playing experience within a free-to-play system.

Alongside six traditional playable classes, players will choose from one of three races: Human, Fairy, and Werebeast. This allows players to either pick race types that complement each other (a melee-based Werebeast Warrior for example) or develop a character with a more balanced set of skills. Then, in a rather clever move, characters are upgraded to level 80 for the duration of the tutorial before defaulting to level 1. This gives players a taste of the abilities available in the upper echelons, and encourages players to push forward to obtain them.

Much like other MMOs, 4Story allows for quest progression and various PvP options. Each month, players can enter a Coliseum tournament that pits them against each other in a battle for supremacy. Standard arena duels are also available, as are larger-scale realm-based combats like Arial War, Siege Combats, and Dragon Invasions. When engaged in realm combat, players can optionally change loadouts by obtaining Guild equipment as a Recruit mercenary, or keep their own as a Freelancer. Once a week, players can engage in war combats to gain territory and gain a significant income from the region's taxes. It may take some time to level up to a point where you feel confident with PvP, but with the amount of endgame content there will be no shortage of options once you arrive.

Whether players are looking for an in-depth free-to-play MMO, or a world in the same vein as Azeroth, 4Story is one very strong contender.
