The Repopulation is a sandbox-oriented MMORPG with an eye on innovation. Rather than forcing players down preset paths they are instead allowed to walk the path which they enjoy the most. With a variety of combat oriented and non-combat activities to pursue, Repopulation aims to be an MMO to stand the test of time.

The action takes place on the planet Rhyldan, with the only known remaining human population fighting for their very existence. The indigenous life forms did not meet their colonization efforts with open arms. Worse yet, humans have managed to splinter themselves into warring factions. That's where you come in. Band together with your fellow men and rebuild the world in your image, without limit!
The first step to rebuilding is to found a nation. In Repopulation, all nations are player run. Resources have to allocated, buildings have to constructed, and it's up to you to organize it. Create your own power structure and assign your citizens unique titles, abilities, and items.
Don't get the idea that Repopulation is all love and roses. Player nations can fall under any of three factions, which creates an interesting PvP dynamic. From there, you can duke it out and fight over cities and fortresses. Don't like how the war's going? Splinter off and create your own rogue nation!
It's not all about fighting with other players, though. An Advanced Generated Mission can create multi-tiered quests on demand. This means that not only will you always have something to do, but it will conform to whatever the landscape looks like at the moment. While missions are combat focused, others are all about the crafting system. Also, the NPCs aren't just static chat bubbles, but real AI who remember how you've treated them in the past. Sure, you can exploit a nearby tribe, but there will be consequences!
Like the rest of the game, the player creation system is very free-form. There are no levels. Instead, you have a collection of 75 unique skills, each of which gets better the more you use it. You can even "imprint" certain skills, so they increase when in a mission or logged out. Meanwhile, you can craft and customize your appearance and gear using the deep fitting system.
