Cross Fire
Basic Information

In the world of Cross Fire, relentless armed conflict between international powers has given rise to a new underground rivalry. Global Risk and Black List, mercenary factions with opposing worldviews, are now responsible for the ever-shifting international balance of power. The origin of these two outfits can be traced back to the escalating use of PMCs (Private Military Corporations) by governments to wage secret proxy wars on their opposition. This trend gave the founders of both Global Risk and Black List the resources to recruit former members of special operations forces from around the globe to establish their respective mercenary organizations. Now firmly entrenched in positions of extreme power and influence, the battles of these two warring factions will shape the future of the world.

About the Game

Cross Fire is a free-to-play, team-based online shooter that sees the forces of the Black List, a secretive military organization described by some as terrorists and others as freedom-fighters, squaring off against the high-powered, corporately-backed Global Risk, which seeks to impose order on an increasingly chaotic world by any means necessary.

Characters in Cross Fire are drawn from a range of real-world military and police units, like the near-ubiquitous U.S. Navy SEALs, SAS, GSG-9, as well as fictionalized outfits and even bizarre mutant characters with superhuman powers. Using real-world assault rilfes, sub-machine guns, sniper rifles, shotguns and more, these characters go head-to-head in single and team-based combat across ten different game modes. Most of the action will pit Global Risk and Black List against each other but in Mutant Mode they'll actually have to team up to hunt down the twisted, powerful mutants that now control parts of the U.S. and South Africa.

Cross Fire is free-to-play for everyone, but a recently-launched Cross Fire League offers competitive league play for the top teams, with hundreds of thousands of ZP, the in-game currency used to purchase new characters, weapons, consumables and other items, up for grabs. Players can also earn badges and ribbons that show off their skills and actions both on and off the battlefield, and regularly-held special events provide the chance to win items, upgrades and bonus ZP. A robust clan system ties everything together with leaderboards, faction rankings, full clan and player lists and an integrated friend system.
