Psychonauts and Mabinogi were the hardest...

I lol'd so hard when I saw Mabinogi ads all over warcry and youtube after I finished mine haha, and I got psychonauts pretty quickly.

Twisted Metal 2 was the 2nd hardest for me imo, I was convinced it was Terminator or something like that T_T

Mabinogi was the intended headscratcher. But since we've been running ads for it on The Escapist, I felt it was a way to maybe reward long-time visitors for our two sites :)

Yeah..my friend was over when i was doing it and he is on The escapist alot and he found it for me, luckily he was over or else i wouldnt of been able to finish =D

I had a lot of trouble with Mabinogi. It wasn't until I posted on my favorite forum that I found out what it was.

Yeah..it was awesome, im gonna keep readin up on this website, first time on it and i love it.

Do you have a total number of entries in the contest that got all of the game titles? Just curious what I'm up against :P

I love that other people had trouble with Twisted Metal... makes me feel awesome. (Sorry)

I got Twisted Metal near immediately, 'cause I played all of them obsessively as a teen. I've seen that T thousands upon thousands of times in my days. That T was like an old friend.

But if it makes you feel better, I've never even heard of Mabinogi, so that one was just as hard for me as everyone else. ;)

I've always liked Warcry's contests because they're ones that ANYONE can do...

Some other websites have in-game ranked Arena competitions, or force you to listen to their webcasts, or make you kill your 1st born son, and you just lose interest before you even finish reading the rules...

I also don't like Blizzard's contests just because of the sheer calibur of the people who enter... I'm a professional artist, and I still crap my pants when I see the winners of their art contests... Now, I can do a good drawing, a drawing that will make alot of people go, "Wow, that's awesome" when they see it, but the submissions Blizzard gets for their contests blow anything I or many other artists could ever do out of the freakin water...

Warcry rocks because their contests usually just set a semi-basic challenge that anyone can do, if they try, and I love that. Not too hard, but not too easy.

Hah yeah, I totally agree, Especially the Kill your first born son part.

Agreed. It was simple to play, yet challenging. Something you could jump right into without jumping through a thousand hoops first.

Thanks for enjoying it! Really, watching the community participation and seeing your reaction to it was a blast.

In particular, credit needs to be awarded to Susan Arendt, Escapist Section Editor (it was her idea in the first place), as well as our awesome Art department who actually put the thing together :)

It's something we're very interested in doing again once in a while ... though maybe not for a little bit longer.

I have to agree that this was a very, very, very cool competition. It took the brains of both me and my brother (except for Mabinogi which either of us have never, ever heard about...), if not only for the codes, but then also for the challenge of actually knowing where all those damned letters came from :D

Kudos to Susan Arendt and the clever people at Warcry for this fun (yet very hard) competition. Do it again, sometime!

(Edit: Oh, and Chrono Trigger and Psychonauts. Bah, I say! *Shakes fist*)

This contest was a blast! And giving away 20 cards combined with the difficulty of figuring out the answers to enter makes those of us who could enter feel like we really have a chance. Though I never win at these kind of things, most opt-in style drawings feel like there's no way at all you'd be picked. Compared to those, this is really exciting!
