I remember in Highschool, there were these guys breakdancing outside and a crowd formed around them. There was this one girl, that I kinda had a crush on, in the crowd and thought to myself, 'Hey jackass, time for you to show off your awesome dancing skills'.
So I jumped in and thought it wouldn't be too hard cause all I had to do was spin around and do some kicks then I realized, "Holy sh*t! I don't know how to dance!' I can't even dance like the Hippo in my sig!

Man do I remember the pokemon cards, they got banned at my school when I was little and it was so huge with us kids that we snuck around trading them like drugs. I used to build these decks and I'd think they were so great and I was unbreatable until I relaized i had NO one to play or test them on >.< I still have like 700 MTG cards...that game is still pretty fun. And I was and still am one of those breakdancing kids. I remember my freshman year me and my friend got a crowd going aorund us at a dance and I ended up teaching a hot senior how to do one-handed-headstand-flips (dont ask). The next day she had no idea who I was...that hurt >.< oh well....thats life. And Rashida...I think we'd all love a webcam video or some digital pics of you dancing like a n00b.

I remember magic cards, I had some uber decks. I also had Wrath of God, Black Lotus, Armageddon, and some other awesome rare (or at least for that time) cards. They's all gone now, the condition of those cards were crap. Gave them to a friend ages ago.

I still have 3 of my alpha decks and they look like new. Gotta love card protectors. I remember I went to mini tourny's here in florida and my scorch deck was banned because i won in 6 turns. I have about 3k cards to date, and I may decide to start playing again.

Only 1 of those isn't causing horrific damage to my body in some way..... It must be the cigarettes, as video games hurt my eyes :P

I'm actually thinking of getting back into pc junk. My computer is feeling a little on the slow side these days. Been there for me for 4 years so far.
Wish I had the money to afford the uber Athlon 64 processors and the new mobos with the PCI slot or whatever graphics cards. I would also put in a portable missle silo to store third world chilren to make counterfeit Nike's for me.

Plasma is crap. The rise and fall rates are the only bonus on a Plasma screen, and modern LCD screens have the same performance now. The gray to gray screen timings are far better on an LCD, and you don't have to worry about screen burn in. Durability is a large problem for Plasmas too. I had a plasma TV, the colors faded in 2 years like all plasma TV's(they have a short work life), and the performance was horrible after that. Plasma's are only good for large TV's, otherwise LCD is king, and for a fraction of the price. I brought my plasma back and kept the LCD.

Yeah LCD's are friggin awesome. I remember about 2 years ago, I got this Sony 17" LCD monitor, that I'm using now, at some sort of computer tech show for only $300. That year I had a huge tax refund, and I was like an extremely rich terrorist at a daylights saving black market sale. I asked the dude who was selling it why it was so cheap. He said it was used, and there were dead pixles, and yadda yadda yadda. I asked him if I could see it and so I ran off with it. Well ok, he plugged it in and showed me where the dead pixles were. I couldn't see any. So I bought it, no dead pixles (or atleast I can't find any) no ghosting... nothing but pure awesomeness.

I got a 20" (I think) LCD with my new compy and it's great. Never gonna get a plasma, way too expensive and definately not worth it. A dead pixel isn't anything to worry about, you hardly notice them. Unless you look for them, and then you see it every 2 seconds.

you bring up a very good point

Gah, i'm not a fan of current LCD screens. My friend had a 17" one. I tried playing CS on it, but the response is so fecking slow. I read up on it, and found even the best LCDs have a reasponse of about 12 miliseconds. Compare that to normal CRT screens that have a response of less than 1 milisecond. It's not really noticeable when plinking about in windows, but you really notice when you play a fast paced game (if i noticed it on CS, i never wanna play UT2004 on that thing)

It all depends on the monitor, my monitor doesn't ghost at all. It's like a really hot chick in a white shirt swimming in water. It looks good, and if you look closely you see things you never saw before.

Most crap LCD's have a response of 25ms, which will produce ghosting horribly in certain situations. Mine 30" is 16ms and there is zero ghosting, my 20" is even better at 12ms.

I also spend my money on prostitutes.
