Thought everyone should know, seeing as how you can basically post a thread about pretty much anything and everyone seems to be fine with it.

Ah wait a few weeks, then ya'll hate it :P Or not in some cases I've heard about. Oh a word of advise, if you're ever working with the deep frier and are high on PCP, don't go to get your glasses if it falls in the deep frier. Yah it's happened before at a McDonalds:P.

First of all, what the hell is someone doing working while they are on PCP?
They deserved what ever happened to them.
Plus I don't do fries, I am higher than them!
I am a Back Person!!!

Did I mention that I get burned? A lot?
Yah well, in the US, they have heat resistance gloves.
We do not.
Therfore, we get burned... Often...

no offence, but i cant eat at Mcdonalds.  i hate it, burgers are low quality and all.  the one thing i do like are there shakes and there McChikens though, and fries are ok.

McDonalds is ok, and food is good, and pay is good, and good benefits. I mean, half of and free soft drinks? How muc hbetter can you get for a part time job? I mean a really simple one? And I tell you what, its better then Goodwill. God damnit, I worked that 1-2 hours a day and damn did it feel a helluva lot longer then 8 at McDonalds.

Mcdonalds is the nastiest place on earth, It should be banned. Its adds promote kids to eat as much garbage as they can, reason why the US has the fattest kids ever.

Canada has more fat kids per capita.

I don't think the store should be held responsible for the bad eating habits of youngsters.
It's mostly their parents/their fault.
That's like blamming the bar on someone drinking and driving.
I am not a fan of this instance, which happened in Canada, more than once.

Canada?? thats crazyness , Canada has no problems with fat kids,  And yes it is Mcdonalds fault for targeting children, Surely if Cigarettes were targeted at children or alcohol even they would be shut down , Please refet to http://www.cnn.com/2004/HEALTH/05/20/young.blood.pressure.ap/index.html for a great article on the massive percentage of youre fat kids 16%

well, it is kinda Mcdonalds fault, to a degree.  they at one point made Camel Cigarettes stop using Joe Camel as there mascott.  Im not Comparing Cigarettes to cheese burgers, but, Mccdonalds is all about the cartoons and the free toys and the kids meals.  it is the kids decision (or parents) to eat there, but, The corperation knows how to get kids to eat there, and does all they can to convice them to.

The chips is good at the morning, probably because that frying oil is all new then. I disgust the rest of the food though. The coke is well, standard dispenser coke, no good IMO. The shake is alright, the burgers taste like they're made of plastic (despite the fact they use quality meat). Haven't tested the salads, won't comment them.

What kind of worker environment laws do you have? In Norway, the heat gloves thing wouldn't be thinkable.

All jobs like that get boring after a time. I work at the meat works every summer for seven weeks, doing the same thing all day for eight hours (what I do takes a minute each time). I'm bored to the end after a three-four weeks. But, when you have no real education, and little work experience, what can you demand? Most important thing is that it is a tidy workplace, following all the regulations and laws and stuff.

I dont think Koga will get bored after 4 weeks, I mean he already knows a few people that work there, and he won't stop taking about how great it is, which reminds me, I need a job real bad........

The people are freaking hilarious!!!
They have been working there so long, that they are sick of just working, so they make EVERYTHING entertaining.
The funniest thing, was probably when we were just lazing around cause there wasnt much bussiness, just a couple burgers every couple minutes or so, then one person pulled up to the drive through, and ordered 20 cheeseburgers..

We all completely dropped everything we were doing, and made as many of the dam things as possible. Both tables were being used to make the meat of the one.

If you do not know how it works, then I shall explain.
There are two tables that both make food. There are two screens pointing at each tables showing what was ordered.
Everyones was clear at the time.
Then it happened.
"HELP HELP HELP!!! 20 CHEESBURGERS STAT!!!"
You could hear it for miles.
Every single employee rushed over to the tables even those on break.
It was so unorganized.
Arms going everywhere grabbing at pickles, meat and sauces(ketchup, mustard)
We did it, in under 2 minutes.
Dam impressive.

Haha, also shows how much time can possibly be not put into making someones lunch. 20 burgers in 2 minutes, thats like 1 burger every 6 seconds.  if your making 20 burgers and only spend 6 seconds on each burger, how safe are these burgers?  I dont eat at Mcdonalds anyway, so, its more humorous to me than anything else.  who the heck orders 20 cheesburgers?  did he has like 5 really fat kids in his car with him?

Actaully, it was three guys... Three hungry guys...
Well, there isnt any way to make a burger in 6 seconds without being safe.
We would have tio go out of our way, and throw it on the ground first.. lol
We had all the meat ready in the UHC, so we only had to grab the patty, and place it on the burger.
It was the cooking of the buns that took the time.
Putting on the cheese, sauces and pickle was easy.

If I worked there, I would only want to work in the front, I wouldn't mind to talk to people, and the best stories always come form the guys that work in the front.

Oh I disagree.

One time, 4 busses pulled up, and ordered 300 cheeseburgers.

Also, guys in front have to hear teh costemers complain about everything!!! Especially breakfast changover. That's always a kicker!!

Ok, I take everything back I said good about Mcdonalds... It freaking sucks..

It was fun when I was in training, cause my trainer was hot, and my age, and I made her laugh like every second, and becauseit wasn't mid day when the friers were distgutingly hot, and I didn't have to work till 11 one night, then get up at 6 for a 7-3 shift the next day, then work a 6 hour shift the next day, once again, starting at 7.

I am getting no F***ing sleep. I fell asleep twice in school.

Through all this trouble, the one thing that was about to brightne my day and make all that pain and suffering worth it, the PATCHECK!!!
I open it up with the biggest smile on my face.
I was so exited until I saw how much I got.

I just finished working 26 hours that week, and got 33 dollars for it.
That's almos ta dollar an hour... That's like those chinease sweatshops...

I went to a manager immidiatly and complained.
They are going to get to the bottom of it.

If you are thinking that I possibly could have gotten the dates mixed up because the hours only start counting on monday, and go on for the next two weeks, then get paid thursday, but don't worry, I already checked... A hundred times.
The dates are good.

I hope they find out what the hell is going on.

any of you ever see the movie "super size me"?  Its about a documantory of a skinny guy who is paid to eat at mccdonalds every day every meal for 30 days.  i guess its pretty crazy, how fat he gets.

The burgers are the worste meat possible.

Everyone knows how bad Hot Dog meat is right?
If not, here's an example.

First, the good meat is cut out of the cow. The legs, ribs and gut and sold in packages.
Next, the insides and between's are scrapped out, grinded up, then used as hotdogs.
Hotdogs get the bad crap from the cow, ligiments, craphole and all sorts of bad stuff.

The funny thing is, McDonalds, in an attemped to save money, gets the meat the hotdog companies dismis.
So, hotdog meat is leftover from package meat, and McDonalds meat is leftover hotdog meat.

That's not the terrible part.

The cream used in Shakes and Ice Cream is the worste possible crap you could ever eat.
It contains so much fat, it could kill a man. Easily.
Not only does it block your arteries, but it contains a type of hydroginated oil, which coats them, and is almost impossible to flush from your system unlike most oil which is just difficult.
not only that, but it contains 0 gooddness.
If you guys htink people who smoke cigarettes are morons cause smoking has 0 gooddness, well, don't be a hypicrit and dont eat the ice cream!!
People think it contains milk, but really, it only contains the lactose nutrient, and no other nutrients given by milk, which is why McDonalds recently got sued because they called there shakes Milk Shakes.
If you look now, they are called only Shakes, because they got sued.

In short,

DON'T EAT F**CKING MCDONALDS!!!!!!!!

In Norway they use meat from Gilde (biggest slaughterhouse/meatworks company in Norway). I work there in the summers, and guess what I do when we slaughter cattle. Cut out the burger meat!! Weeah!! Not the best meat on the cow of course, but certainly better than the meat I cut of the pigs for hot dogs.

Still, for some reason, their burgers are not any good at all. I guess they must have this "mess-up-meat-machine" at every McDonalds joint.

Koga, the 300 burger thing was two different stories. Once, someone called in and ordered 300 cheese burgers. Another time, we had 40 (not 4) buses over the course of the day. I was not working there on either accounts however, so I cannot be sure. Also, our largest purchase was $200 and some. Also, did anyone know that ours is the busyest McDonalds in Ontario?

That's not suprising.

Every time I worked there recently, it was insane.
The location is also quite perfect, on the two busiest roads ever.

Koga, I think I should give you an award for working at a place like McDonalds. I would never, in my life, be caught working for McDonalds or any other fast food joint, I would rather die (I know that you think I'm being silly, but trust me I'm not). Anyways, you could probably find an easier job that pays more money if you look hard enough.

It's not always that easy to get a job.

Their is 0 jobs where I live.
