lol. FMA is a great series, but if you watch it all in one sitting, its extremely depressing. Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni is a decent series, just extremely creepy. Watch it if you care to find out

Hey. No hating on the anime marathons. Some series are only 13 episodes or so. |

Saw 'em in concert last summer. They were actually a lot better than I expected. It is a terrible name though. Back by popular demand! |

So, sitting 6.5 hours in front of the computer is better? :) |
Adventurer Posts: 255 Joined: 14 Jun 2007 | Anybody here read the manga or saw the anime Tenga Toppa Gurren Lagann? I'm sure Chi has. Omg, great series, I love it. May be better than Naruto and Bleach imo >.> WindHawk. SwordSinger of Gustin - level unknown... LII fan |
WarCry Choice Posts: 350 Joined: 12 Nov 2002 | Lets see, some good ones I've recently seen Shijou Saikyou no Deshi Kenichi, D. GrayMan, and Darker then Black. Course still watch Bleach, but Naruto lost me when they decided to go off on that 100+ ep filler, but still read the manga instead.

The Kenichi anime kinda pisses me off. It is so freaking stupid and basic that it is entertaining in a somewhat retardedly shameful way. D-Grayman and Darker than Black are pretty good, though I've quit watching darker than black due to boredom with it. It seems like every episode was pretty much the same thing over and over from the get go. Very well animated though. My favorite series right now is hands down Claymore. It reminds me so much of Berserk it's crazy. No dumbed down kiddie violence either. Not to mention the plot and writing is top notch.

Ok, I'll try a few episodes even though everything I have read about it (with the exception of here) makes it seem pretty stupid.

WarCry Choice Posts: 5505 Joined: 29 Jun 2004 | Ok, just got finished watching the first episode and I must say it was quite well done. Unfortunately I have to go to work now and will not be able to watch another episode for at least 13 hours. Very well animated though, I'll definately agree there.

First episode got me good, it was really interesting but the story was pretty weird, I didn't really get it at first, but after a few episodes, wow, I was so into it. The story only gets better, it's really an amazing piece. WindHawk. SwordSinger of Gustin - level unknown... LII fan |

I've only seen two episodes but I must agree, and I HATE most mech. style anime. Gundam meets Viewtiful Joe with a great storyline. Also, anyone else having problems with the subtitle tracks on this anime? I'm using VLC media player and when I enable the subtitle track it becomes waaaaay too big and overlaps itself in most screens. Anyone know how to fix?

WarCry Choice Posts: 5505 Joined: 29 Jun 2004 | k then, I'll try to download media player classic and give it a go. Though I'm quite partial to VLC...

Epic’d Out Posts: 5548 Joined: 28 May 2004 | VLC is a great program, dont get me wrong, but when that doesnt work, I turn to MPC. on another note, has anyone seen Pale Cocoon, and if so, is it any good?
