Has anyone noticed that UPS seems like they hire all the old, worn-out, lazy, incompetent delivery people? Has anyone actually had a UPS package delivered BEFORE 5-6PM? One time I moved and got all my belongings shipped and it took over two months for them to get delivered (this is no joke). I ended up spending over 2k in equipment and clothes because my belongings were lost in limbo. All the other times the packages have gotten here on the upper echelon of delivery tolerance (They say 9a - 7p, the packages get here like 6:45 - 6:55p). If you just so happen to have a life and want to do things at night then you'll have to wait til the next day (since the trucks are gone early, with your package in them, from the UPS station). I ordered some shoes to go out for the weekend one tuesday and they didn't come in until the next Monday, after 6p, on 2-3 day shipping... /boggles/ Waste of 90 bucks...

I just finished a 14-day trial and decided to buy an Epic Collection from GameStop (cause PlayNC doesn't accept MasterCard, wtf?!). I put it on next day shipping and they shipped the damn thing UPS. Oh well, guess I'll just stop buying from stores that ship with UPS, and stick to those that FedEx, cause I've never had a FedEx package come in after 1PM, much less 1-50 days late. Anyways.

UPS just sucks too much.

maybe your unlucky. I have all my items shipped UPS nextday delivery, and they always come next day, at about 10am. same thing with hollywood video, everything is shipped UPS for orders, and the orders get there at about 9:30am, a full half hour before the store opens.

Both suck in my opinion. Until they can instantly teleport the package in my room BEFORE I even THINK of purchasing an item, they will always suck. Thats right... you heard me.

Youve got a point there, I would like to see that. Maybe even a wormhole to send it through, like in Stargate =P

UPS delivers to businesses prior to residential addresses. :)

All of my business packages always arrive prior to 12pm through UPS. Meanwhile anything I order for home always gets there between 12pm and 7pm.
I believe this is explained in UPS's small text, not that anyone usually reads that stuff.

My package got here last night after 7:30p.

He just sat it on the porch (raining cats and dogs outside), knocked and walked off.

It depends on where you live, and where you fall on their routes. It sounds like you're at the end of a route, so every package you get will probably get there at the end of their delivery schedule. Also, package delivery times get adjusted based on their priority, so if you're only getting basic UPS Ground shipping, that can also keep you at the back of the line.

For me, UPS delivers to my apartment sometime after noon (so I can't pick up the packages during lunch) but before the apartment office closes (so I can't pick them up after work). I wish they'd deliver later so I could actually get the packages without skipping out of work early or waiting until the next morning.

UPS > DHL

I prefer UPS to DHL just because DHL doesn't deliver on the weekends.

In all seriousness, I never had a problem with either UPS or Fedex. I never used DHL so I can't comment on that. It's spring time and as long as those manly drivers stop by at my door wearing them short shorts, I'm happy.
Did I just say that out loud?

We have a hot brunette WOMAN UPS delivery person that has my office on her route..
She can deliver the packages open for all I care.. as long as SHE keeps wearing those shorts...

I thought one of my buddies hired a strip or gram or something when she first started delivering at our site..

see.. there really is a God...
