Keep in mind, I currently serve in the United States Navy. I am not a ship guy. I don't get deployed out in the ocean or gulf where there are no RPGs or IEDs. I get deployed to the front where the metal meets and beats flesh on a daily basis. The guys on my fire team and I all know what it's like to hump gear as heavy as you are in temperatures so hot it doesn't feel like you're getting air when you breathe, what ricochets sound like, or a myriad of other situations that you just have to experience to truly appreciate being alive. And I hated it when I got back to the states a month and four days ago because of people like the above.

George W. Bush was once quoted and berated for saying: "There should be limits to freedom."

I don't believe that he actually meant "limiting" freedom, nor do I agree with that. However, there comes a point where that line is crossed and freedom is being abused, and I think the idea he was trying to get across is that abuse in the name of freedom should not be tolerated. There is no amendment, certainly not the First Amendment (Freedom of Speech), that states it as a God-given right to inflict insult and emotional pain upon a greiving family. There is no amendment to my knowledge that says it is a God-given right to interrupt and demean a ceremony dedicated to the remembrance of one of MY fallen brothers or sisters.

There is so much more I can say on this topic, and have, on my personal myspace page, that I don't want to have a five page thread here. However, I just felt this needed to be shown. The more people that see this, the more people will find this type of behavior and attitude unacceptable in this country. People taking actions like those in this video should not be tolerated in this country. Period.

I know what you mean Zamo, I've heard about this WBC ever since they started doing this bull. If I had 30 seconds with her, or with her congregation, I'd bust out the true 'Wrath of God'. However, don't let the WBC or people like them get to you Zamo.

Just know, that the sacrifices you and your friends and family made to serve this country doesn't go unnoticed. There are plenty of people who appreciate it, me being one of them.

This lady and her congrigation need to feel the wrath of god for themselves. If god exists, I'd have been killed by him over and over again to this day. I was born to a Jewish family, I could care less about religion, but they need to be sent to Iraq or any other hot spots, and see how bad these wars are. She doesnt even want to comment on her sins? She is a hypocrite and needs to be burned at the stake. Zamo, I want to express my gratitude for you and your team, as well as all others who are brave enough and willing to go fight for our safety. On that note, I am against occupying Iraq so long, but those who are willing to fight deserve the best of luck. I will recite a sutra for your safe being Zamo. =D

Hey guys, I appreciate the support, and I know a lot of the guys and girls I serve with appreciate the support that we receive upon coming home. It just seems that it's always the bad seeds that go out of their way to make themselves an uncomfortable intrusion in any given situation. Sadly, it's also oftentimes the most tasteless and ignorant means of making their "Statement" while having the gall to hide behind religion or political ideals.

Again, thank you for the support, there's definitely enough people out there that do support what we do so that a video like this, and people like her, won't get me down. However, I still find that type of disrespect and blatent ignorance appalling and unacceptable.

During World War 2 (or 1) at christmas time both the allies and germans on the front lines were fighting over No-Mans Land, a patch of land some 500ft across and X miles long they'd been fighting over it for weeks. Christmas eve, the Germans and the Allies all came across no mans land and drank and told stories and laughed and had a good time. ENEMIES did this!

If our enemies and ourselves can put aside our differences for a single night, to have a few rounds and share some stories what does that tell you? Think about it.

Not only is 80% of her "church" her own family, but it always convenient for these types of groups that just pick and choose parts of the bible they want to spew insteading of understanding the whole book completely and learning by it instead.
