Everyones been talking about how warhammer and conan are the ######, but you guys are just looking at p2p and fail to ever look around at the f2p's. A game called Pefect World is releasing its beta sometime this month (any day now) and let me tell you, it definately rivals these games.
First off; Mounts. There are both land and flying mounts. Land mounts arent that special, raptors, sabers, horses, ect. The flying mounts is where its at. There are Magical Swords, Giant Birds, Dragons(2 headed ones), Angel Wings, and Seraphim Wings(3 wings on each side, instead of 1) Here are some screenshots:

There are more SS's but im sure thats enough to catch your attention.
Next comes graphics and gameplay. Usually you think of most P2P or F2P games to be 90% grind and 10% quest right? Well this is different. Currently there are over 5000 quests in the game and rising. Thats incredible for a game going into open beta. You will WANT to quest more than grind, people have said that they have gained over 70% exp for a level with just one quest.
As you can see, the graphics are around Lineage 2's level, if not slightly better. At max settings, this game looks amazing, and it still looks great even at the lowest settings possible.
PvP/PvE: Not much is know at the moment, but there are City Vs. City fights(I will cover this in a sec) and im sure there is the normal PK/PvP/Duel stuff. PvE there is also events where many monsters will attack cities and the players must defend the city from the monsters, or the monsters will actually TAKE OVER the city, not just despawn.
Now about the city thing. They have put in a very unique thing in this game. I guess you could say its like the sims. You can buy plots of land, and build your own house and stay there by yourself or with friends when you want to just chill in-game. Its pretty cool, you can get away from any PvP and things cant destroy it.
A large group of players (Guilds probably) can actually BUILD CITIES. and they arent just ghetto *** cities, they are THE ****. You can also build FLOATING CITIES here is an SS of an actual built one. Please refer to the OnRPG Link above to see the Screenshot.
So, everyone should give this game a try, it looks great, and its completely free!. I will update this topic with the website once it comes out out.
We plan on creating a big guild in-game in order to make lots of friends right on, have a tight-knit community, and eventually build a big floating city. There are many ups to joining together and eventually making a guild. please join the forums at www.grandivision.eamped.com.

meh, ive played nearly every MMO to date, and that includes the F2Ps. Some F2Ps are noteworthy for a couple month, but the lack of content kills it. Rappelz was a great game, then gPotato starting gimping their servers, thus resulting in poor gameplay. Flyff, also by gPotato, was a great game, but you can lvl way too fast and hit the cap right away when you find people to buff you. 2 weeks of 3 hours a day of Flyff, and you can hit the cap,and the lack of content to do after is weak. I will admit this game looks decent, but until they can prove they are serious with content updates, it will be a flop in about a year. Im down with trying it, and if it is any good, ill commit for a while to see how far it goes. WoW is simple, yet the PvP content is fun for a while. It dries thin, and the only real thing to do is raid the opposing faction, or run heroic dungeons and make new characters. Final Fanasy XI was great, but considering SoE was in charge, they followed the path their other MMOs have. And sorry about the rant =P

Open Beta for July 18th is for the Phillipines version. The PH version has Ip blocks set against everyone except for people living in the phillipines.
Our english version (the MY or malaysian version) will be released sometime this month, with no exact date.
Silkroad is one of the biggest f2ps on the market, Ragnarok has tons of gaming awards, RF Online is another top P2P, and ROSE Online also won many gaming awards.
And yes it was developed in china with a new sort of engine.

Honestly, i agree with you 110% in every aspect of that post, regardless for some reason silkroad IS still one of the top F2Ps at the moment.
And yes, i also think Ragnarok was one of the most amazing games ever created. That and WoW were the only two things able to ever hold my attention for more than a year. Hopefully perfect world will do the same.

Well then, you need better PR, because all that came up in an initial search was Level Up!'s Filipino version, for which the date I gave is correct. I apologize for looking at the wrong version, but you didn't post a link to an immediately recognizable official site, leaving me to start checking things out without all the information.
Otherwise, all my information is correct, albeit about a different version of the game. :o)

why yes, yes i am. I got lucky to get ahold of the password at the time. its impossible to get the client now unless someone is hosting it somewhere, and even then, without the password, its impossible. Its basically just the first Rag, but in 3d. There be a few vids up on youtube if your interested. Supposed open beta in U.S. is December. If I can find any ways to get you guyses in, ill let you know

I managed to find mirrors of the client being hosted on http://ragnarok-online-2.com/, since I guess the official Koreon site has IP blocks for the download. Problem is the mirrors for all the other stuff are down, so I can't get any of it. I get an error window whenever I try and run the game, so I'm guessing I need one of those extra downloads.

im just critical when it comes to games. they just arent worthwhile unless i see some effort actually put into the game. if the english release is sometime this month, why is there no official site yet?
