Anyone artistically inclined want to help me out?

I'm entering this contest that requires me to make a medium sized design and then a 24x24 pixel mini size of the design or an aspect of it.

I suck at computer art but I'm good enough with the medium size stuff. However the 24x24 pixel thing no matter how hard I try I can't do.

Anyone want to volunteer to resize/tweak some things for me? Probably only 3 images, but I need it done this week.

I'm not sure Im understanding your problem. Is this not just a case of cropping your main image to an interesting aspect of it, and then downscaling the image to the appropriate icon size? Whatever program you're using to create your image in should have options for outputting a specific image size. Or have I misunderstood?

you have it correct, i'ts just that i am using ms paint. which is decent for the purposes of the main image but just doesnt work well for the 24x24 icon.

Well, I'll certainly resize an image for you, but I'm a big believer in "teaching the man to fish".

A google search reveals a number of online image resizers, like this one. Beyond that though, I think you'd be happier with a better tool for the job than MSpaint. What you need is an image editor. There is Gimp, a free open source photoshopesque image editor, and Project Dogwaffle, a 2d paint. Here is a list on About.com of the top 8 free image editors. There is also Artrage which I do most of my digi painting in anymore, despite having much more expensive software like Corel Painter, and they have a feature limited free version.

All of these programs are free in some form, have a much more satisfying toolset than Mspaint, and will provide you with the options you need for easily resizing an image to any dimensions.

If you'd rather not bother, PM me, and I'll tell you where to send me the image you need resized.

I can't download any programs (well i can, but i can't install them) onto the public computers I have access to, so that doesn't work.

But I'll check out that online one.
