I heard bearthug is back, he's my bro, literally. But man, I don't think I have the time to commit to a mmo at the moment. I mean I make time writing posts on this forum while multitasking. I'm actually typing this up while in the bathroom. Too bad there isn't more toilet paper and I just ruined my keyboard... won't get into too much detail. But laptop+bathroom+bile movements-toilet paper=... you can fill in the rest. Be a man, use your hand. |

Adventurer  Posts: 480 Joined: 1 Oct 2007  | I heard L2 is just a grindfest, and only gets really fun when you make it to a high enough level that you can participate in the mass PvP battles. But I hear a lot of things, and I can't tell which voices are telling the truth.

WarCry Choice  Posts: 6892 Joined: 31 Aug 2003  | I love the character models and weapons and armor, but that's not really enough to drag myself through the grind. After 40, the grind gets really bad.

WarCry Choice Posts: 5355 Joined: 29 Jun 2004 | Meh, it is just as effed up as it was back in prelude... I got DC'd from Gustin (best ping for me) 4 times in less than 25 minutes last night. And the place is empty. NC Soft makes my blood boil, they are why I quit L2 in the first place. Refusal to improve NA servers and get GM's that actually spoke english here.

In WoW, 6 of us waited over an hour for them to despawn a screwed up quest mob so we could continue a quest chain. Even worse is the mob in question is a common problem and it STILL hasn't been fixed completely. Aside from balance issues addressed every now and again, L2 had almost no little niggles like that. I miss the days of prelude when the entire Gustin server was full and you could run around in parties of de-leveled PKr's and kill farmers and anyone you crossed for the fun of it. Camping lowbie starter villages was too fun.

Yeah, so I'm gonna play L2 for a little while. Possibly until Warhammer Online hits OB/Retail. Anyone else still play? If so, what server should I put my hairy midget on?
