It's an artifact cape, a very good artifact at that. From what I can remember, the mob that drops it has a very long respawn timer, so most of the time someone will camp around the location it spawns to get the kill.

Whoa that's cheap. That would kinda make it worth trying out, even if it does end up sucking.
|
Posts: 1053 Joined: 5 Jul 2007 | I went ahead and bought it. 20 bucks with shipping. Hell I've paid more for a character transfer in WoW. Besides, it's the collectors edition. From what it says it comes with a month of play included. I'm hoping it's not like WoWs, buy a month get one. But just a little code that I can put in and away I go =p They also have shadowrun for 5 bucks but I restrained myself. So who else is gonna get it and try it out with me =p Might as well for this cheap amirite?! Emancipating heads from necks since 1987!

That's how bascially all the free months work. You don't actually pay until the first free month ends, but you need to submit a form of payment in order to get the free month. I'm tempted to go ahead and get it. Hell, I bought Fury for $20, and I uninstalled it the very next day after I got it. The OB for TR was pretty cool, a lot of things irked me, but I liked the degree of customization it had.

Posts: 1053 Joined: 5 Jul 2007 | OB? Well a descent game for 20 bucks isn't bad. Hell I'll buy a month subscription if I get the one for free. Then I'll play it for those two and probably never go back. But it'll still be cool to try. Besides, I don't think it'll be play once then uninstall. I was looking at their site and snipers and the big ass dudes with staffs look pretty freaking sweet. I think I'll enjoy myself. As long as I'm not grinding in WoW I think I'll be happy. @ the people who played it. If I roll a certain class will I be able to use one of those mechs =p That's what I really want. When do I get a mechwarrior MMO :[ Emancipating heads from necks since 1987!

WarCry Choice Posts: 6882 Joined: 31 Aug 2003 | Time for some hardware questions. I'm in the mood to start upgrading my pc, and I'm pretty set on what gpu I'm gonna get and I'm gonna buy a 4th stick of ram to fill in my slots, but I'm quite curious about my processor. I currently have a Intel Core2 Duo E6600, running at 2.4ghz, and I was wondering if getting a quad core at 2.4ghz would be any kind of significant improvement, or should I jump to 2.6 or even 3.0ghz quad or dual core. So what I guess I'm really getting at is, how much of an increase in performance is there between dual and quad cores of the same speeds?

Posts: 1053 Joined: 5 Jul 2007 | I've got the Q6600 Kentsfield Quad-core right now and I love it to tiny bite sized processor pieces. It stays cool, and nothing I've done has taken it over 50% processor power. I monitor it all the time with my G15. However, if you have a compatible motherboard I highly recommend going with the new 45nm tech processors that they have out right now. Heres a list I made up for ya: The first one is the one I and many of my friends have and we love. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115017 The rest of these are all 45nm tech: Supposedly you can overclock super well and the 45nm stay ice cold. I highly recommend the Q6600 or the first 45nm cpu that I linked looks great. Emancipating heads from necks since 1987!

WarCry Choice Posts: 6882 Joined: 31 Aug 2003 | Looks like the only one I could use of the 45nm would be the E8400 3.0ghz one, which I'll definately consider, since I was also considering a dual core 3.0ghz anyways. Also, would I need to upgrade my PSU (535W) if I upgraded to a GeForce 8800?
|
Posts: 1053 Joined: 5 Jul 2007 | Yea I noticed the other ones were 771 socket and not the 775. Lets look at it a couple ways before you decide: Quad-core: 2.4ghz * 4 = 9.6ghz, easily overclockable to 3.0ghz (or a little higher) giving 12ghz Quad-core comes with an 8mb L2 cache and the Dual-core comes with 6MB L2 cache. Difference in price...WTF only $20 bucks, I bought mine at the end of january and it was 279. Those bastards! Anyways, as of right now, the are both fantastic processors. Just depends on what you want to go with. If you're sure your mobo can handle 45nm you might go with it. But if you prefer not to OC and such the Q6600 will get ya where you need to go. Oh! And I finally used more than 40% of my processing power! While watching the latest episode of bleach maximized I jumped back and forth from 60-75%. Looks like I've got a new record =p Emancipating heads from necks since 1987!

Not only am I having a lot of fun, but I love the way it plays and even though there are a few things wrong that I wish they change, It's still really cool. Plus you do get the first month for free =p. They make it look like you're being charged and they do that one dollar withdraw and deposit thing, but they don't charge ya to play for the first month. Best 20 bucks evar =p Emancipating heads from necks since 1987!

Posts: 1751 Joined: 12 Aug 2004 | the movie is already out (at least on the internet) but its actually more like 2 episodes after another (i just saw it and it basically ends the whole Ori arc), but i hear the game itself might be pretty good, and its also a shooter-mmo and they say that there will be a cover-system present in the combat that will play a big (strategic)role which is a good thing, because i don't know of any other mmorpg's that have that but we'll see...

I went with some OCZ Reaper instead.
I'm talking to you now with some blazing l33t speeds. I'd renew my WoW account tomorrow but I have to work for eight an a half hours.
