No one can deny that after a human being is conceived it will develop into the very same being as those debating this issue. What astounds me is that those who favor abortion went through an identical development stage as the being they are condemning to death. Would these very same people agree that a similiar choice should have been made about their own existence? Abortion today is used primarily as a birth control of convenience because people are too self-centered to take precautions. They prefer their own pleasurable self-indulgence over the care and sanctity of the life they created. What ever happened to taking responsibility for one's actions in this country? Is it too much to ask a woman who has conceived to place the child into adoption? Nine months of discomfort is nothing compared to life in prison for voluntary manslaughter! Does the father of the child have a say in this? And what about the constitution of the United States? Are not all people conceived in this country deserving of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? I believe abortion is a crime against humanity and should be outlawed. We need to overturn the Roe v. Wade decision and get back to cherishing life in this country. For a country that murders it's children cannot be far from self destruction. |

Sooo, if a woman were raped and became pregnant, she should be forced to give birth to said child? "If you fear the heart of darkness, step aside or you will die"

There is a possibility where we can have a logical, respectful discussion about this topic. But like others have said, this will most likely degenerate into a flame fest. |

"The main perpetrator of this monkey lie [evolution] is Charles Darwin. He claims to have developed this 'theory' after studying 'finches' on the Galapagos 'Islands,' but I can guess why he really came up with it. He was on the Galapagos Islands for Spring Break, got smashed, woke up in bed next to a monkey, and then had to come up with a theory that make it all okay." |

Over population is becoming a problem and whats the point of having more screaming parasitic babies (by definition babies ARE technically parasites) and shitty parents when their precious stem cells can be used to slightly improve the lives of others? I know a guy who was born when his mom was only 16, he probably ruined his moms life and the dad most likely ran out on them. Also I think it should be added that if this person was aborted tomorrow I would agree with the mom's decision.
Your never going to stop abortions from happening. If they are outlawed people will use coathangars or belly flops or whatever the hell it is people do nowadays to get rid of the kid as an abortion method. Most of these methods are dangerous and could lead to serious problems for the mother and she may even die so you see, making an abortion illegal is MURDER.
One more thing: If someone was aborted and wasn't able to hop on the earliest debate train to Moral issueington like the rest of us then good riddance, debating about this is pointless because abortions aren't going to be outlawed because people have different beliefs. It would be like making it illegal to believe in Jesus just becasue there are athiests here and there. This brings up another point; Why the fuck did I just type 3 paragraphs littered with grammatical mistakes on an issue thats unimportant? |
