well, i have been following this game closely, as it seems to be the next great underground open pvp mmo, and i read this today, which talks about an item u can buy from the npc shops, and use it on characters to test if they are bots,and if they are, it sends them to ingame jail, for longer each offense. ...What a fantastic idea. I do hope they make them cost a fair bit though, otherwise you'd just get teams of griefers spamming you with them. If they cost enough to matter, you don't care you're being spammed as you get the money back.

Great Idea, in theory. This will probably work for awhile, but those bot creators are tricky, and will probably find a way around this.

It says if you reply incorrectly....what about typos? Do you get x-amount of tries to type it correctly?

"The player the item is used on receives the mullah". As long as this thing costs a significant amount, then this might work. Other wise I see lots of griefing with this. Imagine: you pick a great lvling spot, and some punks come and want to take it away from you. Well you are higher level than them and you can kill them all, so they don't feel like taking their chances pking you. Instead, they start spamming you with this thing every time you are out of combat. Well, at least you get some money of it, eh?

did u read the details? most if not all possible exploits of the item are not possible. And if u read into the pvp details, u will also realize killing annoying people is pretty much incouraged.

there must be some sort of failsafe such as a cooldown timer when one is used on you or something.

they cant be sitting or in combat,so id imagine u sit when u go afk, simmilar to wow, ill be trying it out asap, i hope i dont see bots on day 1, but if i do, ill test the item for sure.

yes, i cant wait. And id imagine those jail time frames are based on game times, which id also assume is shorter, all just speculation though. O and were u able to sign up yet, i think the option is still disabled, it just resets like it use to.

i signed up. Even when i started the client i could just login, but can't pick a server obviously.

this game really is going to be something and apparantly there will be two pk races who can switch pk-mode on/off and really level up by pking people lol. also i hear after two months 2 more races will be introduced (just no other info for that yet)

something must be wrong on my side, cuz i cant sign up, the page just reloads. showing no errors. (after i fill in the data and hit enter)

EDIT: just tried it again, and it turns out the CAPTCHA was the issue, it generated combinations of words, and showed them with spaces, but apprently u have to type the multiple words as 1 big word...strange, owell, im excited to say i am finaly signed up and dling client!! i been following this game for a long time,cant wait to play.

so far i want to try a dhan preditor, and a dark elf warlock. This might change after actualy playing them, im going based on character descrition and youtube vids =p

it went live last night, and , as to be expected, so many people logged withen the 1st 15min, that the servers went down. So i fired it up a few min before work this morning, and they have added another server, all servers were at full traffic even at 6 am this morning =[], but the games hanldes and looks awsome,u can use fluid WSAD or click movement, without changing any options, and they both work effectivly, welp im gonna go play right now ! couldent wait to get home ^^

yeah it's a pretty cool game, you can even change weapons and armor that require a higher level so you can use them much sooner, but i'm getting disconnected all the time :(

i been playing it a few hours, its awsome i love it. Think im gonna stick with my elf mage for a bit.

I've read their pvp system, but it confused me. Something about being able to pk once every 3 hours and then if somebody pks you then you can "revenge" on them and teleport instantly to their location including your whole party or something? Based on that I really don't want to play that game =/.

its not as exploitable as it seems,its best to read the player disscusions on those topics, as there alil clearer then the GM posts. You bgasicly get a few free pks every few hours, after u hit lvl 20,and as u can see on the button near your avatar in the game, theres a "Hit list", this keeps track of whos killed you, and the people you killed, if someone kills you, you get 1 chance to teleport to there location for a rematch,only 1 chance, and seeing as theres lot of skills that effect mobility, you can most liklely get away if needed.
For instance, right now the character im playing has attack spells and root spells lol, anyone is welcome to teleport near me..will just make there death more swift.

also the Dhan get a cool suicide skill that at max level any enemies and allies (up to 3) within 15m has a good chance to die immediately

I am liking Rohan so far. It's so influenced by Lineage 2 I feel at home.

Hell even the choice of monsters in the starting areas mirrors L2 perfectly. Wolves, imps, werewolves, giant fungus. Tis fun.

ok so i restarted yet again, and i made a dhan..female, my reason being ive noticed most of the male classes look rather feminine, and playing my male human i started to notice all the armor sets being um...metrosexual? does this make sense and did any of you notice this? showing your abs on heavy armor just seems like a female developer idea =p maybe im sounding alil phobic, but ether way im playing a female character now, and its got n above average level of "animation" in the boob area....i give that 2 thumbs up.^^
