Newsletter Discussion: GTA Multiplayer or MMO?

For this week's newsletter discussion we ask:

Grand Theft Auto IV promises some interesting, fifteen person multiplayer meayhem, while the creator of the original Grand Theft Auto is hard at work on his own MMO version called All Points Bulletin. Which one would you rather be playing this weekend?

I've always thought that a GTA style MMO is a killer idea with the current market. GTA has proven itself very popular and with 10 million players WoW has proven that MMOs are no longer just a niche genre.

An open ended TPS MMO based on gang warfare would be excellent. Because shooters are skill based a new player should have at least close to a chance at defeating someone who has put in a lot of time.
