Well here we are with the final round of contests. We thank you all for participating in our Beta Key contest and hope to have you hang around our community.
So our Dwarf-lords have finally gotten up from there deep ale slumber and ask the question:

By request of many readers, we have decided to choose randomly from all the correct answers for the riddle instead of first come, first serve.
Remember: The Dwarf-lords go to bed at midnight EST. So that is the cut off for sending in responses to their riddle.
The Elven-kings have decided to let you artist types be creative today:
So send us via our contact form anything fan art wise. The catch: must be PG-13, must be about LoTR of course, and brownie points for using screenshots from the game.
Now that Dark Lord and his Hunt for the Key has the following clue:

Today's Dark Lord winner will also receive The Lord of the Rings - The Motion Picture Trilogy (Platinum Series Special Extended Edition)

The clues should help you locate the page with the next clue or the ring on it. Once you find the Ring, click on it and email us the page you found it. | Hmmm. Apparently that one was a bit easier than I thought. All of you Asheron's Call people are sneaking in here.
Dunargo1, yes another person found the ring about 2 minutes before you. And someone found it about 20 minutes after you. |

Yeah, I'd found it, but I'd already won, so didn't click the ring. :)
Since it's been found I guess it's safe to give the answer though,
The first clue "After a hard day's adventure, wouldn't you tou like to visit one of these?"
leads to the Adventure's Haven on the AC Site.
The second clue "You found the first clue. Here is your second clue: Stop by and hear my tale, if you don't I might cry." Leads to the Ministral Class on this LOTRO site.
The third clue "Ahh you came by. Here is your final clue: You know the saying "Eat More Beef", well this pouch might not be in that category. Its just safer to eat it and not ask." Leads you to the Pouch of Jerky on the DDO site, and that's where the ring is. :)

I have been unable to check it before 3h30 and then found it in 5 min but I see it was too late.
Yesterday I gave up after looking for 45min, so I was hopeful after finding it so fast.

Since cody_61978 wrote the clues, I guess I'm free to tell you that they were indeed too easy, especially the last clue. Looking for 'inn' at the AC search and 'pouch' at the ddo database gave the anwsers directly. |
