i played the free re-activation last weekend, and it made me want to re-sub. However, i am leader of a 60+ member wow guild, its kinda holding me back. Idk, i might re activate today, ill update here.

LOTRO has time cards. I see a lot of them at my local Gamestop and bestbuys. Plus Amazon sells a lot of them too. I liked some of the new stuff they added with Mines of Moria.
Oh currently I'm level 10. I spent all last night grinding on those goblins at the start just to get this helmet they dropped. I'm also murdering wolves left and right. So, probabally by the time you start I'll still be in the starting town, after the intro. I also forgot to mention I'm and Elf, I just realized that.
But I could really use some help for the damn fellowship quests.

my character (champion class i belive) , is lvl 18-19, but on a different server, i checked gamestop and target today,no lotro cards, will be a few days but i will be on there. Pretty sure im burned out on wow for the time being, and lotro is just so damn nice to look at.

well couldent find a time card, but i picked up a pre-paid cc. Ill try and activate my sub with it in a few min. I'll probably pick up the x-pac 2 fridays from now, not sure that there is any point to it at the low lvls.

well, I'll be switching over there tomorrow. I died so I figured I might aswell change. You'll have to wait up for me, I'll post my character info when they're made. But Jesus, I logged onto my beta character I had nearly 50k and was still level 14.
That meant in like 4 days I managed to get 50k, as I had an open beta character.

Okay I'm offically on, but I'll go through the tutorial tomorrow.

k, my work schedule is like 12-13 hours a day, mon-fri. so my game time mon-fri will only be like an hour a night 8-9:30ish (est)

ironicly i had started a hunter on your other server and got it to lvl 8, however..

My play schedual is from 3:30PM (Central time) -about 8 or 9 for my shower, then after I get out from then -12. Then on weekends it's anytime I feel like.

Considering I can buy it online for only $10, I guess I might as well. Any Class/Race suggestions? When I played the trial I was a Human Captain, but didn't love it too much.

I like being a minstrel and a hunter, and elven.
If you want to be a magican you have to be elf or human. A theif a Human or hobbit, and Dwarves get no special classes.
If you become an Elf you'll still see me in the intro as I'm farming the hell out of those goblins at the start. They have this helmet I want really baddly. I've gained 5 levels off of them. So, currently, I'm level 10 Minstrel still doing the starting quests.

I'll probably make a bunch of classes until I find one I like. Warden, Burglar, Hunter, and Rune-Keeper all look interesting.

However, i tried the hunter, and they seem nice, they pack a nice "ummmff" which is kinda rare for archer classes in mmo's. I also tried a burgler (dagger) and it was descent for the limited amount i tried it.

Well, Hunter's also get dual-weild. Minstrels are like hunters int ta most of their attacks are long range, but not as long as hunters, but they attack more frequently. Minstrels also only use light armor, and hunters get medium armor. Minstrels can heal, and buff aswell. I like being a minstrel, I get to move and attack. So I'll be using a special skill and running away from the baddie.

My main's a level 51 cap named Corpuswulf on the Nimrodel server, but i have a bunch of 20's also.

What's max level for a LotRO character?

I tried to get back into this game, but I couldn't. I really don't know a lot of people who are playing it and I end up soloing for a while, then calling it quits. It's a great game and I had a blast playing it at first, but I grew tired of it after a while. Maybe after the next expansion or a big content upgrade I'll hop back in.

Just so you know, minstrels can wear medium armor, if they're traited for it :)

Edit: they get the trait at level 20 iirc

Hunter is a master nuker from afar, if you start the fight, you'll most likely end it before the mob even gets to you, if you get cornered and have to fight up close and personnal, that's when things go sour, they also have a lot of utilities (faster run,mob tracking,teleports)

If you're into lots of huge numbers you'll like the hunter
