Was this that mmo where they were going to test new forms of advertising to make money rather than subscriptions? I remember reading something like that, just not where and which game :/

You know this game is so confusing. The "European" version, as we've covered pretty extensively here, is being published by MAYN interactive and developed by ALT1 (used to be Gigasoft). BUT...there's a 12Sky 2 being published in North America by Aeria Games and if you read the interview, it's very clear that these are two different games? Confused yet? I know I am.

That said, I've hunted around and haven't seen anything about in-game advertising. Given that it takes place hundreds of years ago, I can't see how that would work. :P LOL...I'll keep looking though.

I believe, since MAYN's version is not limited to European (no IP-block from what I've read), it is technically not "European" version anymore.

I also have not seen in-game advertising, unlike other games like 9dragons, etc.

The only reason I put it, lack of IP blocking aside, as "European" was because MAYN is based in Europe and the North American version is being published by Aeria.
