EverDream Studio, a publisher and developer of MMO games, today announced that Dragon's Call first closed beta would be launched in November, 2009. Dragon's Call is a brand new browser MMORPG which has stunning graphics and a large variety of ways to play. In conjunction with this announcement, EverDream also launched a newly revamped website for Dragon's Call. Players can now access dc.gamdp.com for pre-released game info, exclusive wallpapers and concept artworks, the latest news updates and more on the game.

"We are a globalized team with more than 30 people and concentrating on browser-based game development. But more than that, a cutting-edge gaming platform is on our schedule and we intend to become a significant role in all the major gaming markets worldwide." said Torrez Lan, the chief marketing officer, "We look forward to delivering Dragon's Call to fans around the globe shortly. During the anxious waiting, I hope our fans could still stay in touch with Dragon's Call through the official website - http://dc.gamedp.com

Obviously, the mix-up of lightning, fire, magic, castle and black dragon sculpture on the website background are not only a simple reflect of a dark cruel battle between human, orc and dragons, but even more. And more to be explored in the upcoming closed beta test.

Dragon's Call: Auction System VS Marketplace

image

Unlike some of the "Age of the Empire" type games I played, in which market is one of the most important places or the only place where we interact with other players besides the battlefield, Dragon's Call includes a more interesting option, the Auction System as well as the marketplace.

After you go through hundreds of people haggling, chitchatting and trading goods, you may start to worry about which one to go to, the auction house or the marketplace?

But you don't have to struggle to choose any more, when you can play both in one game:

Auction System

On a regular basis, there will be some items, including some epic items, put up for bid in the auction house.

Market System
The market is quite similar to the auction house. The only difference is that the auction house allows the players to bid on the items randomly sold by the system, while the market allows players to sell something to others for Gold or consume Gold to buy something from others.

You may use the search function in both the auction house and the Marketplace to search for the items you want.
