Runes of Magic Heralds in its Birthday Week with Plenty of Activities

SAN FRANCISCO and BERLIN - March 15, 2010 - Soon, Runes of Magic is going to celebrate its birthday this week. On March 19th, last year open beta ended and the online role-playing game went live. To party the anniversary appropriately, Runes of Magic players have a week-long jubilee in which to celebrate, accompanied by promotions and an in-game event.

Frogster is firing the starting pistol for the birthday week today: Frogs will be crawling all over in the game world. Anyone who bags some of the amphibians will receive coins which can be exchanged for valuable items. On March 19th only, all adventurers who are logged-in will receive an exclusive pet- a lucky frog. This is the first of its kind which, along with its visual appeal, also has a lucky bonus effect - meaning that owners will have an increased chance of finding rare items in the Runes of Magic game world. Fireworks will accompany the Friday celebration of the first year of Runes of Magic and give it a real bang.

In addition, next weekend, players will receive three times the amount of Experience and Talent points.
