Activision Acquires DemonWare

Activision and the Dublin-based multiplayer middleware maker, DemonWare, have reached an agreement it seems, and announced this morning their joining forces.

"In the next two-to-four years, we expect that online gaming will grow significantly as a result of a more seamless plug and play experience provided by the next-generation consoles," states Mike Griffith, CEO of Activision Publishing. "The acquisition of DemonWare will enable us to eliminate many of the challenges associated with online multiplayer game development..."

Will there be a way to reject or refuse a certain type of buff you don't want in the future. The are players who go around and put buffs like speed boost on people who don't want it or like it on the character they are playing. It usually either gets them killed because it makes them overshoot there target and puts them where they don't want to be.Or you have to stop playing till it wears off. I hope this is a problem you will devote some time to and try to fix it. I have gotten so frustrated with it on some days I have signed off the game.

I apologize if my tone here sounds confrontational. I don't intend it too, as this is a genuine concern for me. I have even canceled my account over this and much as I would like to come back, I need to know first if this issure is going to be addressed. Is Customer Service ever going to become a priority for this game again? I fondly recall a time when, if you were lucky, a petition would be answered in minutes.

I've sent 70+ petitions over the last two month period, and they have all been utterly ignored. Not even an email response. Everybody I speak to tells me they don't even bother petitioning anymore. So that's my question. When is customer service going to become a priority again?

Have a couple of questions. 1. Are we ever going to see spears and sheild for the scrappers. Also everytime I turn around my toons are getting nerfed and I have to respec them all again. Why is this happening.

Yes, I love the game the only thing I was wondering about was the monsterous heads, I enjoy useing them especialy for villians. my one complaint is that you cant put head gear on them, for example I wanted 2 try and make a Anubis look alike but its hard if you cant put the Egypitian Head peice ontop the monsterous head, so my main question is if in Issue 9 or 10 you will be allowing the players to begin putting say hats onto the monsterous heads
