Connect 08: LOTRO to Open Mines of Moria With New Expansion

Turbine has just announced that the first expansion to Lord of the Rings Online will be Volume II: The Mines of Moria. Some of the features of the expansion will be:

- 10 new character levels, increasing the cap to 60
- 2 new character classes, Warden and Runekeeper
- 3 new regions
- New faction, The Elves of Lorien
- New weapon enhancement system, give your weapon special abilities, create your own legendary item much like Bilbo's Sting or Gandalf's Glamdring
- Balrogs, which you should try to keep from passing
