Age of Conan PvP Impressions

IGN's Australian bureau had a chance to play in the PvP beta test and recorded impressions from the event:

So, the verdict? It's a little soon to make a definitive call; we'll do that when we get review code, but what the PvP weekend lacked in variety it made up for in excitement. It should be noted there were also training missions for both modes but no one seemed interested in them. Still, it's nice to know that in the final game players can train before the slaughter.

One question niggled at us. We loved the world, the graphics and the combat - but this is the Age of Conan... so where is he? Well, word from Funcom is that Conan is King. It will take a while but players eventually get to meet - and do missions for him. They've promised us this is a worthy reward for all the mission time a player will need to put in.
