Atlantica Online: Closed Beta 2 Ends

The second round of closed beta testing for Atlantica Online will end later tonight (Aug. 18th). Do not be dismayed, however, as plans for closed beta three are already there. See what's in store:

Dear Atlantica Players,

Thank you for the interest you have shown in this game, voicing your feedback and opinions to us with such passion. Your comments and input are greatly appreciated, and we plan to take that knowledge and work to improve Atlantica. And we hope you will continue contributing to this ongoing process to make Atlantica one of the best MMORPGs out there.

Today, at 10 p.m. Pacific Daylight Saving Time (PDT), the Atlantica server will be taken offline to perform updates and maintenance on the game. We are working to incorporate some of the changes you have suggested through your feedback.

As previously announced, Atlantica will enter a third round of closed beta testing, and the tentative start date is Aug. 25, 2008, at 6 p.m. Pacific Daylight Saving Time (PDT).

When you return for round 3, you will be able to continue right where you left off when the second round ended - there will be no wipe at the end of round 2. Plus, you will return to an Atlantica that has been updated with the following changes:

• An improved Stamina system.
• More parity and balance in the Free Leagues, as we refine player-versus-player action to be less one-sided and more competitive and exciting.
• A better role for Scrolls in PvP, based off of your comments to us.

Please note that this timeline is tentative. We will make all efforts to meet this date and restart on the 25th, but due to the variables involved in the development process, the date could change. But we hope you will keep returning to the Atlantica website for further details as they become available. Thank you again for taking part in the Atlantica experience. See you in round 3.

Eh, too bad they wiped the first one. I haven't really played much for this round.

Now i have to admit they know the Stamina System is no good..The community is in a uproar over it..And they (Players)gave ATO a run for there money sort a speak..The Devs couldnt wait to see the cb2 ended..As you can see above of how they word it.ATO is getting a grade F from all over the mmo sites..Somewhere on the ATO forum the players did warn ATO about the Stamina System, it will kill this game if not removed.Well from what i am reading through out the MMO community It seems ATO is on a downward trend..Will ATO redeem itself?Time will tell..
