Diablo II Artist Chimes in on D3 Art Controversy

When we got a chance to speak with Diablo II artist Ben Boos, we also asked him to weigh in on the controversy surrounding Diablo III's art direction. Boos, who was "instrumental in setting the basic tone for many of the environments in D2," had some interesting things to say about how the Blizzard team came up with the environmental tone in D2, and how it's reflected in the third game.

I am still looking forward to Diablo 3 just because of the countless hours lost playing Diablo 2. Considering how anticipated this game was for many years, I do not think Blizz will let all of the Diablo fans down. Just my 2 coppers
