Hiding a secret artistic bent? Now might be the time to think it over as Jumpgate Evolution is sponsoring a wallpaper contest for aspiring artists.

Jumpgate Wallpaper Contest!

We're proud to announce a new contest for Jumpgate Evolution. As you may have seen in screenshots and videos, Jumpgate Evolution is a beautiful looking game full of nebula clouds, asteroids and planets. What we want you to do is create a new wallpaper for Jumpgate Evolution for us all to use on our desktops.

You have complete free rein over how you produce this wallpaper, you can use images found in our screenshots gallery, create it in paint or use your artistic skills and draw us something!

The competition begins today and will end on 13th October; you can enter this contest by posting your entries to this forum thread (please only post thumbnails or link to them). The winner will be selected and announced on the forum and website so get those entries in.

The Rules

- All entries must be either 1920x1200 (Widescreen) or 1600x1200 (Standard) pixels in size.

- All entries must be rated PG. Anything relating to inappropriate topics will be deleted and disqualified.

- All entries must be in relation to Jumpgate Evolution

- All entries must be posted into this thread; if you need to upload your design somewhere you can use a free image uploading website such as www.photobucket.com or www.imageshack.us

- The Winner will be announced Monday 13th October, 2008 by 3pm MST (Mountain Standard Time) / 10pm BST (British Standard Time).
