You seen the video? It looks surprisingly epic. It was sold to me until they used the word 'Pixiewood'.

So.. any game that has a persistent world that a whole lot of players can connect to at once is now suddenly called an "MMO"?

Well...Massively Multiplayer Online = MMO so, yeah.

It's not calling itself an MMO-RPG which it clearly wouldn't be.

Alas, the general public has no idea what the difference is between an MMO and MMORPG

so its a dumbed down WoW world with a SIMS concept? seems more like a fancy loby system then a game.

Seems like a Hanna Montana paradise to me. That's what kids these days dig, right?

In fairness, the concept is aimed at families.

Well it looks a crap ton better than most of the other "family" oriented MMOs. PotCO = Barf! Sad when you aren't even willing to play a free game.

DM: From the deepest crypts crawls the undead thread, it's death rattle shakes you to your core. What foul necromantic forces brought forth this foul beast.
Cleric: I attempt to turn undead.
DM: You can't this is a WoW forum D&D magic does not work here.
Cleric: Well guys we are @#$%*%!
Wizard: Agreed, I believe this Necrothread was created by a dread ForumLych, impossible to stop, without a sense of humor.
Fighter: Very well I throw a badge or some other posting reward down at the necrothread and prepare a tactical retreat.
DM: The necrothread pauses at your offer, snaps up the reward and slinks off deeper into the internet.
Rogue: Phwew! That was close... I wonder if there are even more ancient Necrothreads ahead of us?
Fighter: We will only know when we continue on our journey through the crypts of Warcry.

PotCO may not have the best graphics around but it's strangely addictive. :)

Wizards 101 is strangely addictive as far as a family game goes.

Yes, Wizard101 is, that's for sure. We just bought 3 1-year subscriptions at our house. :)
