Age of Conan: Snow Mammoth Mounts

Age of Conan players have an opportunity to score one of the coolest mounts in MMOs, the Snow Mammoth. Check out the facts about it below.

The war painted Snow Mammoth is now available in-game at the NPC mount vendors and comes in three different looks. Besides being a very stylish player mount, the Snow Mammoth - like its brown brother the War Mammoth - can be used in siege PvP-battles to attack enemies and destroy structures.

Here's a look at this bad boy:

This unique mount even comes in three different 'war paint' looks. Pretty damn cool, IMO!

Does it come in red, green, blue, yellow, purple, and puke? If so, I'll play AoC again.

Why is it that the voice in my head refuses to get me a cupcake?

You can have it in any colour you like, so long as it's white.

Let's put aside any complaints or upsets any of us might have with Age of Conan and take that moment to appreciate the amazingness of this new mount being added to the game. This mount is the kind of thing that, when rolling up on a friend, a person wants to possess. If you're at all into the business of looking like a person nobody would want to mess with, than this is a must-own accessory.

I agree, Sally. :) That's what struck me too. I don't play Conan but it's the sort of thing that might make someone consider it. A mammoth is unique mount-wise in an MMO. LOL!

I gotses a question though. If it is a "snow" mammoth, wouldn't it have wool? Animals in cold climates develop fur - wool - to keep them warm, and that thing don't got no swing... I mean fur. And now that I think about it, ALL mammoths have wool. That's sorta what defines the difference between mammoths and elephants-with-big-honkin'-tusks. I want my red woolly furry crap and I want it NOW!

Why is it that the voice in my head refuses to get me a cupcake?

The barbarians have developed a technique to skin mammoths alive! What's there to understand?

Yes it is a cool mount... but in a bad game. That is sorta like someone giving you a Porsche but it is filled to the door tops with steaming crap. I think I will go with a lesser mount and a better game.

DM: From the deepest crypts crawls the undead thread, it's death rattle shakes you to your core. What foul necromantic forces brought forth this foul beast.
Cleric: I attempt to turn undead.
DM: You can't this is a WoW forum D&D magic does not work here.
Cleric: Well guys we are @#$%*%!
Wizard: Agreed, I believe this Necrothread was created by a dread ForumLych, impossible to stop, without a sense of humor.
Fighter: Very well I throw a badge or some other posting reward down at the necrothread and prepare a tactical retreat.
DM: The necrothread pauses at your offer, snaps up the reward and slinks off deeper into the internet.
Rogue: Phwew! That was close... I wonder if there are even more ancient Necrothreads ahead of us?
Fighter: We will only know when we continue on our journey through the crypts of Warcry.
