Star Wars The Old Republic: Art & Screenshot Galore

BioWare's upcoming MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic got a massive December update featuring 16 new screenshots and concepts depicting beautiful landscapes, transports, droids and weapons:

From lightsabers to landscapes, our concept artists have been busy creating art to inspire the look of Star Wars™: The Old Republic™. Check out these newly released images depicting the iconic imagery from the Star Wars™ universe.

Also, make sure to take a look at the new screenshots we've added to our gallery including scenes from inside the Sith Academy and the majestic ruins of Tython.

I'm still somewhat iffy on the artstyle they took... But, if the gameplay is just as good, I'll deal. Though that's somewhat unlikely.

What art style would you prefer to see for SWtOR? Similar to the Star Wars Galaxies?

I dunno, I think the style looks pretty good. It's actually gained me some interest in this game.

Hero Engine looks solid, but it's still unproven with no actual released titles so far.

Ironically, looks like SWtOR will probably come out before Hero's Journey (the MMO that the engine was developed for by Simutronics).
