"Co-designed...by Blizzard Entertainment".
This mouse quite obviously gives you an advantage over other players, which Blizzard have tried to stop by hiding and "protecting" a lot of the in-game Lua functions. At one point they made changes to the API to intentionally break a lot of addons to stop people having too much of an edge over more casual players.

There was also the case of the guy who had his account banned for using macros created with his Logitech G15 keyboard (excellent keyboard, by the way). The "macros" they keep pimping for this mouse had better be "legal" ones within the game, or they've just destroyed that precedent.

On a lighter note, the Onyxia Scale Cloak mouse? :)

Actually they've stated the macros this thing can do could be grounds for a ban if you exploit them.

Rather amusing really.

oh dear... lol

Ok then....

that thing is my new best friend

*face palms*

Ok can someone tell me how $100 worth of mouse gives you a serious competitive edge over say $20 or $50 mice? Then again it does look AWESOME.

In terms of FPS they can make a difference - the increased optical sensor resolution enables you to move the view faster and with greater accuracy. For WoW it's just a novelty. The macro buttons are nice, but nothing that can't be found elsewhere.

Wow.

Nothing like a bit of dedication to your art I suppose.
