I think you may have shot yourself in the foot with this thread Mr Zeeky. Warcry isn't just another piece of the escapist. It's got a completely different mindset. One that you don't pick up in a matter of minutes or even weeks.
I've been posting here on and off for a month or two now, and as far as I know I haven't seriously stepped out of line, but I have no doubt that I'm still very much viewed as "one of them pesky 'scapist fellers." by the denizens of Warcry. And rightly so. Unless I had something extremely impressive to share with them, I wouldn't dream of creating a thread here.
So the chances of you creating a thread which essentially says "Hey guys! Look what I just copy pasted. Now give me some of them precious views I know you got's a lot of. Purely for the badg... alright, i admit that it was a little stupid to compare one level of prejudice with one on a completely different level. but i am not a fucking badge farmer. i created this thread for profiling purposes. this thread has already told me that there are some, very few, people willing to accept it and there are some who seem to carry prejudice against me solely because i am from the escapist and thus they think that i am a badge farmer. i have already learned that this forum has some key players who all seem hell bent of having the forum "their way" and can't seem to grasp the concept of a new person making a thread. all of this information i have learned from your (the warcry fellas) reactions to the thread.
i originally thought that people would just accept that the thread was here and adhere to a good discussion about peoples avatars and why they chose them, that was my initial plan to learn things about these people. but instead you people decided that it would be better just to tell me to get lost because you thought only one thing of me. i chose to copy-paste an existing thread simply because all the answers would reveal something about your attitude towards the way you people represent your individual selves (the avatars) and not because i'm and unimaginative bastard with no originality as you people seem to think. Nah, but in all seriousness, I'm actually really torn on this issue. On the one hand, I frequent the escapist. On the other hand, warcry seems neat, but I'm almost scared of it because of the hatred of escapists. Every time I want to post something here, regardless of the thread, I feel as though I'm mutually not wanted, so I don't. That's why I only post in the "spammy" threads here. I feel like there, people at least can't get mad at me for what I say. I don't like badge farming, but I'm worried that if I post on warcry, people will think that I'm farming or trying to get a higher post count.

I view you, Sneaky, Jaman, SV, and Damien's as cool people. Here's what I did. I orignally came from the Escapist, noticed this place called WarCry and just started posting. After a week or two I pretty much got to basically know the main people and adjusted my taste. At first I thought it was exactly like Escapist and figured I had to go by Escapist + WarCry's new set of rules. I didn't really start to fit in 'till I minused the Escapist part. So basically what I'm saying is if you want to fit in do these simple things: 1. Post in all types of threads, but either be on orignal main topic or the new topic created out of nowhere. Like how in "Post your picture" we started posting food for like 3 pages. If you post in only spammy ones some will still see you as a farmer going for other badges. 2. No grammar nazi-ism. 3. If we start dissing on Escapist don't get all upset. Use it as a time to vent. It's what a few of the people who visit both here do. 4. Don't go around necroing old threads. 5.
