I enjoyed Fallout 3, Diablo II, and Mass Effect a lot though.

Guild Wars, followed by Warcraft 3, followed by Pokemon Platinum.

Yup, Guild Wars finally passed WC3. I think it's the game I've played the most out of all of them (that's what I go by).

@Orange: Cool. I agree with that, but sometimes it is fun just to have a game which you can complete in a day. It's my second favourite, after the obvious.

@orangebandguy: Not that I particularly enjoy quoting him... ever.... at all.... but Yahtzee[1] makes a good point. The length of the game doesn't matter, so long as it's fun and entertaining. And by Jove, he's right!

I'm fighting a couple of Striders right now. This game is AWESOME.

Forgot to mention. Portal: Prelude is the single most difficult mod I have ever seen for a game.
Easily doubles the length of the game from the sheer difficulty of it. Took me longer than the base game itself, actually.

@Portal: Yeah, that's right. I've pretty much run out of room on the one I've got, and my mum has a new computer (her old one got infected). We're putting it in for repairs tomorrow though, so I'll be firin' mah Sasha soon ;)

And I just completed Episode Two, and the ending was, without giving away too many spoilers :(

But something really weird just happened. When I was about to log out of Steam, it came up with the message 'Half Life 2: Episode One - Download Complete.'

Oh my... I really can't choose one. Although Morrowind is one of my favorite RPGs, so that could be a good answer.

Oh, but there's so many... Well, either Oblivion or UT3. It's sort of a mash-up between RPG/FPS, I know.

Left4Dead, no question about it. I could kill zombies all day, all the time.

My favorite game would have to be MegaMan Legends. I could play that game over and over and always be entertained.

I just have to go and say Just Cause 2, just for the sheer funfactor of it.
Sure, there are more original games with better storylines.

But man, dicking around on an island the size of New Zealand has never been so much darn fun!
