Sorry to say, place is mostly just a skeleton.

Only people that really come here are either Escapists that are hunting for badges and run off to never be seen again, the occasional, seldom glance of an oldie such as yourself, and just me and SirBryghtside.

Kinda sad, really.

Also, I was captchad (captcha'd?). Wow this network has gotten lazy. Why have mods when you can put a half-assed captcha system that won't stop 90% of the bots on the internet.

I'm checking the place out because I found a link to it on John Funk's profile at the escapist expecting to find some reviews done by him on this site, since I really like his voice and he used to do that for the escapist, haven't found such a thing yet :/
Also this place is really depressing, like a complete desert, I don't think there is a place quite as depressing on the Internet.

WHAAAAAAAT!? It's just you 2?! I mean I did notice the place was dead and you're comments but just you 2?! This place is far more depressing than I thought...

I wasn't aware we treated non paying members like shit. I mean, every time I try, I usually get yelled at.

The captchas are there to make things easier on moderators. Old accounts also occasionally get compromised by spammers or turn into bitter trolls who think flooding the forum with a script is funny. Most of the spammers that get through these days are actual people logging into the forums from what I've seen (due to the captchas stopping most automated bots from being effective).

Pubclub doesn't have them, because I am willing to personally deal with any spammers that want to pay me $20 to ban them 10 minutes later and mass delete their posts.
