Hello SirBryghtside and Portal Maniac, who are apparently the only inhabitants of this place, So How often do you get visitors like me?
Are most of them escapist people that just want the wanderer badge?(if that still exist I neither know or care)
Or are they people like me that were just snooping around the Internet and bumped into this place, and posted out of curiosity for the place?

About once a month. Sometimes an old regular like Chi'll pop in, and sometimes someone looking for the Vagabond badge. Either way, it's nice too see someone elsefor a change.

Well it's nice to see you find it nice to see me, still kinda sad that this place too sad it had to die for something as silly as a badge (well at least partially because of that from what I've read). Hope you guys manage to resurrect this place if that's what you're looking for.

Tried to bring life back into this place. Don't need to say much else about it. The results of that little endeavor are apparent. Shame that the only denizens other than me and SirBryghtside are more often than not a spambot.

No hope of bringing this place back to power. Better this way than what it would be, anyways.

Unfortunately unless you joined around when I did, you missed out on WarCry in it's glory. Back then every game had it's own full-on site, not just a forum. We were the top L2 fansite around pulling hundreds of thousands of hits a month.

Back on 2003? That was a long time ago, I think I was still learning how to speak English back then, and I think that's around the time I saw the Internet for the first time so I don't think I even knew MMOs existed. So I guess I never even had a chance : (

That stopped because the game companies started bringing their communities/databases in-house. So we lost our main hook to bring people here to talk about a specific game rather then you know... playing that game. Outside of that, we'd have to pay people to generate lots of daily content about a game in the hopes that people would come and read it. :(

Definitely, game developers making more useful/accessible websites/comunnity sites definitely dropped the need for good fansites. Lineage 2 was the last MMO I've seen that really had huge long-lasting fansites, several in fact, each one seemed to serve it's own purpose.

Yes, this place is a bit dusty.
