In no particular order: Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
1. Dawn of the Dead,(2003 remake) i own about 110 DVDs that I like equaly, but those are top 5 right off hand, close runners up would be LOTR triliogy, Zatoichi,Resivoir Dogs,Anchor Man. etc. etc.
Mine in no particular order: 1. The Lord of the Rings Series
Seeing these answers....I need to add the 007 movies and evil dead series to my list.
Top five, hmmmm...tough to pick just five. But heres some off the top of my head: 1. Heat - (Best firefight in any movie, BEGS for surround sound!) 2. Time bandits - (Dunno why, just can't quit watching that movie.) 3. The Natural - (Everytime its on TV, I stop flippin' channels and watch it to the end) 4. Bullitt - (110mph thru downtown San Francisco with Steve McQueen...nuff said.) 5. Terminator - (Just the first one. "Your clothes...give them to me...now." lol) Shizzie WTF?!?! Krull? I saw that in the theater, nice pull man!
In no order 1. Hackers (I must have watched it like 50 times atleast.)
1. Donnie Darko | |
"Hail to the King baby." He's a real cool guy in person too.
The Warriors...nice call. Love that movie.
So do I, my mom got me it for Christmas two years ago. She was iffy on buying me it because she thought I didn't like the movie and hadn't seen it before and only wanted it because I had recently bought The Warriors game. She didn't know I use to watch it all the time with my dad. Over-all, a great christmas day movie.:P
No particular order Koyannisqati It's hard to pick just 5, but those are the 5 that popped into my mind at the moment.
hell ya Stotan, Equilibrium is a awsome underground film, the same lead actor who plays Batman now. Its a great movie about Gov. restricting free will.
1. Stalker Honorable Mention: Equilibrium, The Prestige, Qatsi series, Baraka, Terminator series
1. Starship Troopers (so bad it's good)
Running man? i almost put that in my list, in honor of the fat guy that looks like a christmass tree. Evil Dead dosent even need to be on the list, everyone knows Bruce Campbell
Considering his first film was garbage, I was hoping his next would be better.
Devils Rejects wasent very good but I pesonaly enjoyed HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES, then again it basicly cut and pasted Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and thats 1 of my fav movies ever. (that dident make my list ><)
The running man is up there as I just love the book, didn't translate perfectly to a film, but it's still great. Of course Evil Dead is really a given, Bruce Campbell is a god. And oh yes, I loved the remake of halloween. I just loved how damn creepy it made Michael Myers, he's not just some faceless slasher in Zombie's version, he's a fully fleshed out character. I did love his other 2 as well. House of 1000 corpses was classic B movie slasher stuff and Devil's Rejects had the best ending put to film. FREEBIRD!
incognito...titanic...i-rec...love actually...romeo and juliet. cthese are the films that i would never forget. they come with their respective stories. i gave all of them a thumbs up for their greatness!!!
1. Iron Man I don't know I love movies so it is hard to make a top 5 but these are what I am digging at the momment.
The first 5 that come to mind are: Nolan's Batman movies
Garbage my good sir would be C.H.U.D. or Elephant.
Maximum Overdrive!
| |
I would have to agree...Almost Famous is definitely one of my top movies ever! Joe
I hope you don't mean Elephant by Gus Van Sant. I found that movie to be very interesting, disturbing, yet hypnotic in a strange twisted kind of way.
While I found it to be incredibly boring and dumb.
Elephant is a great movie (in my personal opinion) because the director, Gus Van Sant, decided not to go the traditional narrative approach on the subject matter. To do so would definitely be exploiting the tragedy the film focuses on. But then again, there is a reason why I wear boxers that depicts Mario holding a mushroom in the crouch opening.
For the lulz? | |
In no particular order: Pulp Fiction
1. passion of the christ
Are you kidding me? Passion of the Christ?
For every movie, at least one person in the world has it has his or her number 1. Every movie.
But still, The Passion Of The Christ?
Just because you don't like the movie doesn't mean others do.
