Maximum Overdrive was a scary movie for me when I watched it as a kid...

(still a scary concept though)

These are listed in no order of particular preference

1. Star wars movies I-VI
2. Lord of the Rings trilogy
3. Aliens
4. Underworld 1-2
5. Robotech (all three series, technically they are anime eps not movies but i like them enough to list them anyway).

Mine would be:

5. Matrix 1
4. Blade 2
3. Silicon Tears (a Greek comedy, made me lmao over and over again :P)
2. Lord of The Rings Trilogy
1. Sweeney Todd

Sweeney Todd is my number one favorite movie of all times! I guess it reflects my personality >:)

I've seen a couple of really retro/old school sci fi flicks.
Forbidden Planet and Logan's Run to name a few. They're friggin awesome.

I loved Logan's Run....I haven't seen it in so long....

I agree 100%.

1.) La Blue Girl
2.) Demon Beast Invasion
3.) Legend of the Overfiend
4.) Alien from the Darkness
5.) Rei-Lan

Oh, whoops. You said MOVIES. I thought you meant HENTAI. Uhhhh...dammit, just gonna list my favorites currently as I cant rank them:

Waiting, Grandma's Boy, Super Troopers, Boondock Saints, Kill Bill (vol 1 and 2), Fight Club, Rocky Horror Picture Show (classic!), Chronicles of Riddick, Man on Fire, Last Samurai.

Waiting, Super Troopers, Rocky Horror, and Grandma's boy are amazing. The rest I've not seen, except Kill Bill and Chronicles which I thought were okay.

Man on Fire was really good. I especially enjoyed

MoonPenguin:
Man on Fire was really good. I especially enjoyed

I will watch any movie with Denzel in it, just because it's a guarantee that he's going to yell and mess at least one person up.

As for favorite movies, I can't really definitively say what my favorites, but there are movies I will always watch if I catch them on HBO/starz/encore. Those being:

Alien/Aliens
Dune
Denzel Washington (Man on Fire, The Negotiator, American Gangster, etc..)
The Jacket
Angel-A
Shaun of the Dead/Hot Fuzz

In no specific order and omitting great movies that have already been mentioned...

1. Braveheart
2. Killer Klowns from Outerspace
3. Se7en
4. Planet of the Apes (1968)
5. Robin Hood: Men in Tights

Limiting favorite movies to 5 is impossible and completely dependent upon my mood. This should have at the very least been limited to a specific genre; (horror, 80's flicks, etc...)

I have yet to see a movie that those British loons do that I don't find entertaining! And I agree with the comment about Denzel Washington, he ALWAYS seems to play an angry black man at some point in all of his roles. PROVE ME WRONG!

Samuel L. Jackson is worse.

SLJ is a great actor and all but he's being over-hyped lately. Though he makes a great Nick Fury.

Idiocracy
Planet Earth BBC
Wanted
Casino royale
ATM the Harry potter series

Niceven:

I love him, but I mean he plays more of an angry black man.

Hehe....Killer Klowns is such an awful movie that it's great!

You'd probably enjoy Slither. Go watch it!

Denzel is way more intimidating then Samuel imo. Another movie for me would be Lost in Translation, I hear a ot of people say its boring but for me a good soundtrack can do a lot for a movie. The movie Sunshine has a great soundtrack and my girlfriend has been trying to get me to watch it for a while now, but whenever we try to watch it we get...distracted.

killer klowns is awsome....who ever thought popcorn could be dangerous...or swirly straws used in such a demented way.

I wasn't really a fan of Lost in Translation. I tried to watch it a time or two, and just couldn't get into it.

Star wars VI
The bucket list
The Matrix
Blade trinity
Lord of war

Scarlet Johansson is adorable in it and I like Bull Murray quite a bit. I love listening to very mellow/slow/calm ambient music, which is what the soundtrack pretty much is, and that reflects the mood of the movie pretty well. Maybe that's why I enjoy it so much.

I love Killer Klowns, but I wasn't too fond of Slither.

Now, Groundhogs Day is a great movie.

Groundhog's Day is one of the only movies I can literally sit down and watch over and over and over again. Every Groundhog's Day I seriously look forward to watching it.

It's kind of fitting that you (and me) can sit and watch Groundhog's day over and over and over again. (And still enjoy it)

Who can't? I was pissed when I missed it this Groundhog's Day.

I never really have favorites, just a bubble I think that are 'the best'.
The Sting
Shawshank Redemption
Jesus (1979 film)
Fiddler on the Roof
(Insert Pixar Film)

More Cult Classics:

Niceven vs MrCheese vs MoonPenguin - this was totally epic...and then Greever appeared in the last 10 seconds and banned us. It won five oscars that year including best screenplay.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is the best movie ever, I'm afraid.

If you're not being sarcastic then I currently hold your opinion slightly below that of the beer can full of cigarette butts next to my mouse as I type this.

1) LOTR series
2) Fight Club
3) Fast and the Furious 1,2 and probably 3 but it's not out yet
4) Pirates of the Caribbean series
5) Mean Machine

i agree

on a side note, I finaly watched Taken.
Its not bad, but every drive sceen was a joke, along with most of the dialogue.

Shoot'em Up and Death Race were fucking awesome if only for the gratuitous violence and sexual innuendo.

REPO! The Genetic Opera was pretty damned awful.

Not recommended.
