I thoght the holidays are supposed to bring out the best in people, but as of late I've seen the worst. From kids bad behavior increasing where I work (I'm a secretary for a high school), to that poor employee getting trampled to death in NY. Even the drivers have gotten worse...whats up with this!!??

I've had holiday apathy for the past few years, finally this year I get to do something about it. We're really not celebrating in the traditional sense, no gifts or anything. With my wedding, and my fiance's UK visa to pay for, everyone knows we just can't afford it. I'm making the christmas dinner this year, and I think we're going to his parents, just to chill out for the day, and introduce his dad to Guitar Hero. It's honestly a huge weight lifted, not having to worry about planning things, the stress of shopping, I'm having a great time this year.

The holidays just seem to bring out the worst in people, in my opinion, with over-excessive spending, children demanding things, and people freaking out if you so much as hint at not sending cards. Christmas isn't what it should be anymore, sadly.

I raise your grumpy secretary position and raise you a rampaging bus driver.

In my opinion, it's not necessarily the holidays that brings out the worst in people, it's the magic four letter word that turns intelligent humans into a stampeding herd:
SALE.
The kids start getting rowdy because they want all the new games/toys/clothes/etc. and their parents don't give in to their incessant whining which makes them all moody.
