I love coffee, but i cant stand when someone smells like they bathe in it.

Principal almost found out, but i was able to drop it and step on it fast, and he made up an excuse that i was helping him on a project in class. needless to say we had to produce something for him, but because i was the only person in his class who could manipulate computers with linux, twas rather easy.

Epic’d Out Posts: 6532 Joined: 8 Nov 2008 | None of my teachers are smokers. I do have one that randomly leaves, though. For like an hour of class. He also plays bass in a metal band. He's pretty much the worst teacher ever.

Epic’d Out Posts: 5986 Joined: 28 May 2004 | Ah, another stupid thing i did, in middle school, someone girl stepped on the back of my shoe chasing another girl from the class, got sent flying roughly 15 feet forward making a turkey noise somehow. Someone said i flipped a couple times along the way, but i dont remember the earth spinning. Im lying on the ground shouting F*$K over and over, a couple friends laughing, another friend saying i should stop saying that because ill get in trouble. Needless to say i didnt get in trouble, but without realizing the coach was coming running to me to see what happened, i managed to get a couple clean shots with my foot into his family jewels. He was never the same, ended up with a high pitched voice for a couple weeks.

Epic’d Out Posts: 5986 Joined: 28 May 2004 | Yes cheese, let us know, I got my hands on the beta thanks to the tech school i go to and the fact that I managed to become a member of Windows Action Pack, that gives access to betas of their programs and then alot more. Dumbest thing ive done today so far is dropping a 90 pound couch on my big toe, and im being to lazy to see a doctor

WarCry Choice Posts: 10107 Joined: 4 Aug 2004 | Doctors can't do anything for a broken toe, anyway.....just try to keep as much weight/pressure off of it as you can and take an anti-inflammatory. |
Epic’d Out Posts: 6532 Joined: 8 Nov 2008 | I broke my toe once, it has a bump on it still.

Pfft. You wouldn't believe the ammount of illegals here that go to the ER for the dumbest things, including such broken toe. |
WarCry Choice Posts: 4759 Joined: 6 Dec 2004 | Windows 7 is the shizzle. All the good things about vista (the prettyness, DX10, solid stability) mixed with the good things from XP (the low resource consumption, the compatibility). Every piece of hardware on my laptop (even my odd atheros wi-fi card that neither vista or XP had drivers for) was picked up at install and works fine. The upgrade feature for once didn't wipe my hard drives anyway and it left no horrible backup folders and files all over the place. Overall the install was long but pretty painless. The system itself is a work of art. It is to Vista what XP was to ME. While it looks the same, some of the added functionality is just stuff I wonder how I ever lived without. For example, internet explorer 8 has tabbed browsing, we know this. But in Windows 7, if you mouse over the IE icon on the taskbar, it displays a popup with previews of all your open tabs, allowing you to close them from the popup or simply open IE to whichever one you want. I can't wait till it does that with firefox too. The taskbar itself has become more a sort of dock than anything else. Think rocketdock. You place shortcuts to commonly used programs on it, then click once to open them, the graphic changes slightly to indicate the program is running now instead of just a shortcut. Oh and Liveme - yes you can make the task bar less boxy. In the settings you can shrink the taskbar icons to make the taskbar as thick as it is on Vista or XP. However the boxy look is my preference. Once you realise it's sort of a dock and a taskbar combined you start to like the bigger look of it. As for app compatability - perfect. Only thing that doesn't work after upgrading is DaemonTools, but that installs kernel level emulation drivers, so I wouldn't expect it to work after upgrading an OS. I'd assume if I reinstalled it now it'd be fine. All my games run just as fast as XP, if not faster, all my apps boot up in half the time. Overall a stunning OS. Now i'm annoyed that I have to wait for the full thing to put it on my desktop, got too many projects going to risk beta OS software on here. *edit* maybe I should have put this in a new thread, oh well. It's off topic, but it has proven to not be a dumb thing to do. I |

Master Looter Posts: 1611 Joined: 27 Mar 2008 | Apparently I told my D&D group that my brother's ex wanted to get back together, when I said she was talking to him, and they told her that. Now she's pissed at my brother, which makes him extremely pissed at me. More then likely she's lying to make him hate me, as she's lied before to turn him against us in the past.
Opera's been doing that since Opera 5. That's an old feature to me. |
