You can ask for help but don't post sites. Some leveling guides do work. Most want money but make sure ask around. If other players haven't heard of them its probably not a good one.
I've played wow for quite some time. Every time I lvl a character up to 70 I know where to go and what quests to take. I don't really need a lvling guide, mainly because it's all in my head. But I think that even when you are new to the game a few tips will increase your lvling speed significantly; A very good addon that shows the best route that you should walk while questing is Questhelper. You can download this addon on the curse-gaming site. I really recommend this to every new player.
victus this post was from a year ago, just a heads up =p
Trying to bring this forum back to life ^^. Might be a good idea!
The thing with Leveling guides is that they just want you to collect as many quests as possible, blow thru an area, then get to the next part of the guide on a specific timeline that always rushes you while people WITHOUT guides I tend to notice enjoy the game more because they get to play at their own pace, enjoy the lore to the game, and get to... errr... stop and smell the carnage? I think that guides that help with making money ingame or helping with professions are more valuable than leveling guides. You always need gold in each stage of the game so why bother with a leveling guide when something can aid your debt to the guild bank?
Just because the OP is gone doesn't mean we can't discuss this. I'm pretty new to world of warcraft. I looked at some free guides for gold and levelling. Levelling guides seem to be very common sense: go to an area, get all quests, do all quests, move on to this area. The only important information is the level ranges for the various areas. Gold guides were also pretty much common sense, but they really did help me by getting me to realise how profitable the auction house is. I love mining and I also love the multitude of 80s who want to be blacksmiths but really don't want to mine the materials themselves.
There is a WoW addon known as QuestHelper, it's essentially a Quest Guide as an add-on. http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/quest-helper.aspx
Hows it going.. My friend got me wow for my birthday and told me to start playing.. He's a level 70 while I'm level 7 right now on Mannoroth. He told me to try out a leveling guide and said I could be 70 in a few weeks if I followed these guides.. He suggested this site to me [Removed Site - Stotan].. The ones that the site offers are over 30 bucks... Do these work? I enjoy the game, but I hate playing solo.. Thanks. Any suggestions will help.
