World of Warcraft Cosmos UI mod beta

Im not realy shrure abouyt geting it.... btw it is a download.com , under the games>RPG>mmorpg

Any help would be good thanks all

Yes, while it is not supported by Blizzard (don't go calling their Customer Service department if you have problems with it), Cosmos as well as other such mods as Nurfed, CTMod, and Gypsy Mod are perfectly legal to use. I believe the general line Blizzard has drawn between what mods are and aren't allowed is they don't want "bots," so anything that lets you leave the computer while it does something for an extended period of time would probably be bannable, but pretty much any other mod should be fine, especially ones hosted on high traffic public sites.

Visit the custom UI section on the WoW boards....and you will see the MODS endorse certain ones.

Cosmos is the most popular....and I love it....4 hot bars.  thank god.

Especially as a mage.....we just have a slew of spells.....

And on my hunter im also using 3 full hot bars and the 4th is for oddball things like crafting, first aid, potions I may carry and foods.

I suggest Cosmos because they do a great job on updating fast after a patch.  Simple to use...and many nice features to improve your screen.

If the MODS endorse it...use it......if its not on a list they endorse....dont risk it.

Also use the Links provided on the stickied post from the MODS......to avoid risk of getting a hacked version with a key logger.

The only thing to know about using Cosmos is to turn off Thottbot, it can generate incredible lag for some people. I know it did for me. In the character select screen, you can disable parts of mods, so I disabled the half of it I don't use to cut down on possible lag.

I think he was not asking about the legality of Cosmos itself, but whether download.com can legally host the file without the express written permission of the creators of Cosmos.
