//INCOMMING TRANSMISSION TO: Ambassadors of Liberty members SUBJECT: Officers Duties The following are the duties associated to each rank in the fleets command structure. Please read and understand the following. Only ranks with duties are seen here. Future duties may arise. Nothing is final and is subject to change. Fleet Commanding Officer (FCO): The Fleet Commanding Officer is responsible for all fleet functions and fleet integrity. The FCO makes all decisions in respect to the fleets's direction, vision and mission, and is in charge of maintaining and cultivating the integrity and character of the fleet as a whole. The FCO's duties include, but are not limited to the following: *Making all senior decisions pertinent to fleet functioning. Fleet Executive Officer (FXO): The Fleet Executive Officer is solely responsible for making sure that the FCO's orders are carried out. The FXO is to step in and command the fleet whenever the FCO deems it necessary and will command with the utmost integrity and character. The FXO is to be the FCO's right hand man, and help the FCO in any way needed. The FXO's duties include, but are not limited to the following: *Assist any officer in the performance of their duties. *Assist any Fleet Command members duties during another Fleet Command members leave, or find someone capable of doing so. Fleet Captain (FCAP): The Fleet Captain is the nuts and bolts of the fleet, and the grease that keeps everything running smoothly and efficiently. The FCAP is responsible for seeing that all fleet functions are conducted and implemented efficiently and promptly. The FCAP's duties include, but are not limited to the following: *Maintain current crew member list with current ranks and duty assignments. *Logging and distributing fleet practice/training briefs and debriefs. Fleet Ambassador (FAMB): The Fleet Ambassador is responsible for recruiting and maintaining diplomatic relations between our allies. FAMB's must keep a good attitude at all times, be it in game, on our forums or on other forums where you are representing AoL. The FAMB's duties include, but are not limited to the following: *Must keep a good attitude in game and on forums, be it the AoL forums or other forums where you are representing AoL. *Must actively be recruiting for AoL be it in game or on forums where you are representing AoL. *Keeps an eye on other AoL members in game and other forums. If someone is out of line in game or on another forum they will receive a warning on the AoL forum. Remember that three warnings in a 30 day period will warrant a member a temporary forum ban for seven days. Continual out of line behavior can get a member ejected from AoL. *If anyone outside of AoL has compliments, questions, or complaints, an ambassador of AoL will contact said person to thank them, answer any questions or to resolve an issue. *If we (AoL) or other fleets are interested in forming a coalition, the ambassadors are in charge of working out the details. Captain: A Captain is responsible for keeping all the fleet functions running smoothly by providing any type of information or material that is needed. A Captain is to become familiar with all duties of the Fleet Command Officers and provide assistance in the daily functioning of the offices as needed. Captain's will also be helping to maintain the peace, keeping the newer members in line while still trying to maintain a high level of activeness in STO. A Captain's duties include, but are not limited to the following: *Facilitate and provide for any information or material needs that any Fleet Command Officer requires. *Until the Lieutenant rank becomes filled, will help new members in becoming acquainted with AoL policies and regulations. Lieutenant: Lieutenants are instrumental in the development of new recruits in AoL. The Lieutenants are tasked with getting new members acquainted with our rules and regulations. If needed, Lieutenants will be assigned a new Ensign to help them on the forum as well as in game. A Lieutenant's Duties include, but are not limited to the following: *Welcoming new members to the fleet. *Making sure each new member has read and understands the rules. *Help any new officers with the forum or STO if needed. // // //END TRANSMISSION | |

Greetings Officer, We at Ambassadors of Liberty would first like to welcome you to our little corner of the galaxy.
Now, a bit about us.
Ambassadors of Liberty was recently established on October 15th, 2009. Our founding ideas for a fleet/clan/group translated into our name. Not only do we have gamers, we also have play by post role players and social members, anyone who wants to join our fleet has the liberty to do as they wish. They can be with us to game, role play or just to be social. Everyone joins equally and just because one is there to RP and not game does not make them any less valuable. Once someone is accepted into AoL they will become ambassadors of that liberty, but what is even more important than that, you will become family.
Our current fleet structure is as follows (there is a more in-depth and realistic fleet structure which we will switch to once we get enough members in the fleet.):
