Star Trek Online artists were invited to judge in an art competition:
The folks over at http://GameArtisans.org asked two of our Cryptic Studios artists to be judges in their first annual Unearthly Challenge.
The Unearthly Challenge invites environmental artists to create out of this world settings - the kind that grip the imagination and lift a game experience out of the mundane and into the extraordinary. Cryptic Studios has been delighted to co-sponsor the competition. We've also been delighted that two of our own artists have served as judges for challenge. Jens Holdener, one of our STO and CO concept artists, acted as a judge for the 2D portion of the contest, while Sam Rucks, one of our STO Environment Artists, acted as a judge for the 3D portion.
