Orc Starter Zone Single Player Video!

While I was at Games Day I recorded a few videos of game play. These include both the RvR scenarios as well as some singe player game play!

This one has some single player gameplay. Its the Greenskin starter zone.

geez, how much of wow can they clone? interface-wise.

An interface is an interface, 1/2 the games post-WoW have gone for a similer type look...why? Because they work well and easily configured. Why mess with a good thing?

i just really hate the layout, thats all. its all cluttered, cutting off most of the game view.

Its not really all that cluttered. But Im sure they'll have XML configurable UI so you make yourself one you like.

looks pretty nifty to me. Customizable UI's are the new wave anyway, I'm sure they will have something to make it a little less "in the way" when it goes into beta anyway. Or someone will.

How is that cluttered? It's just about as minimalistic as can be while still giving all the information you need. The "clutter" is probably more of a matter of screen resolution than anything.

The stock interface was probably the only good thing WoW had.

I noticed some of the videos have more bars. I assume they change as you level or you can add them on at the beginning?

Either way I adore the minimalistic approach. That's why I like google so much XP. Besides if you can change you UI like in WoW then no one really has an excuse.

The UI seened easy to follow. Ill try to find out how customizable it is, but the layout was simple and easy to follow.

I hope that if there is UI customization, they limit it to appearance, and don't dive into the crap pool that is add-ons like WoW.

It seems like most UI's in WoW have to be fixed anyways after a big patch. Like everything, although I agree a more aesthetic chaning approach to UI's would probably be better than letting so much be done.

Same here....it's ridiculous at the add-ons WOW offers....basically performing the fighting for you.

thats sorta how it was in WoW without addons.....all you had to do was click heroic strike every once in a while...
