The Green Skin fan site for Warhammer Online received a surprise pakcage from Mythic Entertainment hinting at a new addition: The Orc Choppa!

I think every WAR blogger was a bit jealous when Keen received a mystery package from Mythic Entertainment last weekend hinting at an upcoming announcement about the Dwarf Slayer. Well, if I was green before, I think I might have turned a shade greener today after receiving my own little envelope courtesy of the folks from Fairfax, VA.

Like a ravenous goblin in an orphanage, I was twitching with excitement as I ripped open the seal. This is what I found inside:

If you gathered the top 10 most memorable action movie quotes from the '80s and '90s, I think you'd find that the guv'nuh, Arnold Schwarzenegger, delivered at least half of them. Being a child of the 80s myself, I quickly replayed many of those quotes in my head. "I'll be back." Terminator. "It's not a too-mah!" Kindergarten Cop. "If it bleeds, we can kill it." Predator... Oooh, getting warmer.

At 1:16:06 of Predator you will find perhaps the most valuable contribution Arnie's illustrious career to the motion picture industry (career... hmm, interesting choice of words):

"Get to da choppa!" To add a little context, the full quote is "Ruuuuuun! Goooooo! Get to da choppa!" preceded by some kickass machine gun fire and followed by a thrilling escape attempt.

So, either Mythic is playing the cruelest joke of 2009 on us or we're in for some big news about the Slayer and Choppa careers on January 29, 2009! I somehow doubt they are messing with us here.

PS. The sender signature contains the capital letters J and D. Thanks Josh and everyone else at Mythic!

They'd probably be better off spending the time it took to think up these little mystery packages on actually fixing their game. Releasing the Choppa and the Slayer isn't going to save WAR. A drastic overhaul of the game mechanics is all that can do the job imho.

They need customers SO bad m8! the only thing the want now is to grab as many as they can after the frustration of Fortess Fiasko,RvR instability, and City siege "crap"

i agree that those changes wont FIX the game, they will make more attractive!
