I downloaded the game from the Lineage II website, then I bought a game time card. I played beta so I have an account already, but I can't activate it because it's asking me for a CD serial code. I don't know how I'm supposed to supply a serial code if I downloaded the game. Can't you just download the game and pay monthly after that instead of having to buy the retail box wtih cd key?

You HAVE to buy the game.

You already have a gamecard, so you are half way there. Once you get a serial key from a box you buy when you buy the game, you will be set to play.

If you bought the game over the Internet, then they should supply you with a SERIAL code.

It's your key to making it into the game. Hope this helps,
